vlc has changed...

I am a current student of the VLC. They no longer use the SUM program.  The dictation is still doctor-dictated, but it is not, I repeat not, well organized. I have managed to get a job before finishing school, and so have a few others, but I have known many who have been ill-prepared after taking the same course. I think a lot of it depends on how much supplemental studying you do on your own and if you are well suited to this profession.

I go to the VLC, and I'm doing okay, but I'm just not able to give a whole-hearted recommendation that it is a good school. I think it has potential, but they (the school) need to do some serious organizing before it will be a "good" course for all rather than just the few who are exceptionally well-suited to this career.

I hope this helps!
