"There but for the grace of God"...

Posted By: ...go any of us MT's. (sm) on 2008-09-11
In Reply to: MT on welfare. - Maybe you can relate. sm

I've been an MT since 1975, and have watched my hard work earn less and less each year since the late 80's, early 90's.

I'll be 60 soon, and I'm always just one paycheck away from having to move back in with my 83-year-old mom! And because I'm working, I don't qualify for any government help. Just a lower rate on my PG&E, but that's it.

Good luck to you, and hang in there. Maybe things will get better soon.

That may be our only saving grace.....sm
Still, I fear the reprecussions that may result from that.
With everything they have to say grace over, this administration
will need streamlined, efficient performance. He's sounds like a great pick.
"There you go." A Reagan-esque pearl of wisdom.

People can change by the grace and sm
mercy of Jesus Christ. You are not addressing my post though. There are many many gays who are killed because they are gay. That is what you are refuting. You say it doesn't happen. Yes it does and has happened many many times. I too think it is a disgusting sickening sinful lifestyle. But, I don't think these hate groups have any right doing what they do anymore than I think folks should be mistreated or killed because they are black, Jew, a different religion, anything else.

Gays are not the only ones getting sympathy. Read back in history about other hate groups and who they went after. There is no place for killing anyone because of their lifestyle or anything else. That is what the post was all about.

For whatever reason it burns you that it is documented that this does happen and it has been all over the news. I am beginning to wonder if you are one of the ones that think because a person is homosexual they should be killed, tortured and murdered? Christ himself wouldn't even do that even though this particular lifestyle is an abomination and I agree on that point.

Sin, not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, is going to take you to he!! and an eternity without him. That is ANY SIN including hatred. Think again.

Sorry I am off the post now also. The subject was about gays being bashed and mistreated and killed. Yes they are and that is the bottom line.
Wonder if Nancy Grace will make an effort to
to bring this to light and declare how sick and cruel this was. And then question on and on and on why this would have happened. She works for CNN....doubt it.
