Are you really sorry?

Or was that kind of sarcastic? Hmmm! Well anyway, I really don't know what you're going on about. I didn't see any disrespect toward Mrs. King at all. Nobody even mentioned GB2's name and nobody talked about him either. Carter made one brief remark about wiretapping 45 years ago. How that qualifies as completely taking over and destroying an entire seven-hour memorial service is really mysterious, don't you think? Oh, but Rush can make partisan hay out of anything can't he:) That's his job. He's getting weirder and more shrill but his fans don't seem to notice.

And yes, I have a living to make too. When I was finished with work I watched the service replay on C-Span. I don't trust the news and radio pundits to give an impartial recap of ANYTHING - they lie, lie, lie constantly, by omission as well as by intention. That is what state-controlled media is all about.

I simply think it was great that the crowd was so receptive to Clinton and showed him such affection and appreciation. I don't know of one word Clinton said that wasn't totally respectful and sincere about Mrs. King. He was his usual graceful, charming, eloquent self and his eulogy was tasteful and appropriate.

In the end, I think that's what galls the Clinton-haters most, heh - and yes I find that extremely amusing!

And by the way - no, all state funerals are NOT as excessively lavish and extended as Reagan's was, and I don't recall EVER seeing a dead President dragged here and there across the country to lie in state in multiple cities. THAT was truly morbid and circus-like, and to my mind extremely disrespectful and classless.
