Why do they think they own God? Why do they think they own the American flag and that disagreeing with a rabid republican is unAmerican? Their whole premise is against God and unpatriotic.

I have a dear friend who says she loves Sarah Palin and she talks negatively about "liberals." Yet, when I ask this person about the issues, she admits she isn't really paying attention. She also watches FOX news and doesn't realize it's a tabloid type of program. She thinks it is the news. She is not smart. That explains a lot of these people. Not smart. The other ones who support Palin and McCain are either racist, rich or religious right freaks. I find most of the people though, are uneducated and brainwashed by Fox.

I was asking how to handle my friends. That is what I need advice about. I find everyone, everywhere to be ready for a fight. Especially republicans and I feel like I'm losing friends over this election. Is there a way to stop people from bringing it up or is there a way to be diplomatic without being nasty back to people? I was crying because I'm losing my friends over this election.

Mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears is out promoting new book. In a Newsweek article, she points out the hypocrisy of her daughter being criticized for being a pregnant teenager and she being called a bad mom, but Bristol Palin is commended for valuing life and her mom is made out to be a good mom.
Not a fan of the Spears, but I thought she had a valid point.

and felt compelled to post that he/she was bored. I merely said it was boring to read posts about people complaining that they are bored. If you are bored by my posts, don't read them. Simple fix.
So if you are so bored and got so much idle time
instead of worrying about my panties...which, BTW I haven't worn any for at least 20 years...would you say this if it were your own mother, father, daughter or son? Have you ever lost a loved one? Just about any living, breathing human being who actually has would have the sense to feel deeply offended by your puke.

They're not bored. They's simply bitter and hateful.
Each and every person who even comes CLOSE to being nice to, respecting and liking JTBB will be attacked, like little second-graders in a clique. Unfortunately, because you are being nice and trying to hold a dialogue with JTBB, you are their newest target. (I believe I was their target last week and probably will be their target again.)
They can't come up with anything intelligent to say, so they attack, as the rabid right have become known to do.
Just keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy reading your posts. They make sense, they're friendly and respectful, and and those kinds of posts are sometimes rare on this board.
