Geesh.  THANKS A LOT.  You wanted change, BOY ARE YOU GOING TO GET IT.  He is not even President yet, and already a Marxist.  Go ahead, bow on your knees to Obama, I want my United States back again.  It may have not been perfect and Bush tried along with Clinton, Senior Bush, Regan, Carter, and all the other presidents, but YOU CAN HAVE YOUR HITLER, MARXIST GOVERNMENT.  I blame you all who voted for the Marxist, Hitler style government.

Don't blame Obama for the coins...blame the Franklin Mint!
The Franklin Mint has an entire series of presidential coins that are tacky and cheap looking just like everything else they manufacture.
Let's blame Clinton...Let's blame Obama.
The FACT is that Bush BECAME prez on 01/20/01.  He was told by Clinton to beware!!  It was Bush's duty to know, to care what was going on.... the FACT is he didn't give a rat's patooty!!!  FACT is he was on vacation most of his first 7 months in office.  The FACT is he stared into space for 7 minutes after being told America was under attack while kindergarteners were reading "MY PET GOAT."  I am so sick of the LIES you people want to ram down my throat.  And when Obama takes office, God-willing, I am positive he will be under a microscope like NO president has ever been as there is a different standard set for him and never has a president-elect undergone so much criticisizm BEFORE taking office.
Tired of choosing between crap and crap?
I posted "over there" and so I figured I'd post over here, too.  Anyone else tired of party wars and sheep mentality and more interested in the Constitutional Republic that made us what we are now?
How can Obama have no blame?
Yes, Bush started it.  Obama is continuing it.  More bailouts, more spending, etc.  I don't believe anyone, or at least I'm not, is giving Bush a get out of jail free card here.  I wasn't too thrilled with him when he was in office either.  Now we have Obama who, even though he has been pres for a short time, has spent more than Bush did in 8 years.  We can't blame everything on Obama but we can't blame everything on Bush either.  It goes both ways.  This continued spending and taking over of banks and auto industries is just insanity.  Government is getting too big and that is something that Obama has continued regardless of whether or not Bushy started it.  Either way....I don't agree with it.  I don't care who starts it or finishes it....I don't agree with it.
Obama voted against it, too!
What does that make him?
Why I voted for Obama (sm)

1.  I believe in a woman's right to choose.  I have read the FOCA bill and have based my decision on my interpretation of that bill in accordance with my own opinion.

2.  I believe the war in Iraq is a disaster.  I don't think it does credit to our troops to send them into harm's way for an unjust war.  Obama will end that war and get our military home.  The money we spend in Iraq is also included in that.

3.  I agree with Obama's tax plan.  I have sat down and compared the two, and in my situation, I get a better deal with Obama's plan.  I see no difference in McCain's plan and what is going on right now with Bush.

4.  McCain has shown is lack of leadershiip in the fact that he cannot manage his own campaign.  He ran all around like a chicken with his head cut off when the economic crisis hit.  Said he suspended his campaign and didn't. Obama submitted a plan and went with hit, showing leadership qualities.

5. Negative campaining:  This is something McCain and his wife publicly said he would not do, and yet he seems to be okay with it now.

The list is much longer, but these are a few.

You know, GP, I voted for Obama and like

I said, I never cared for the Bush administration, but give Bush a break.  Enough is enough.

and Obama voted yes for it. (nm)
.
You voted for Obama? NUF SAID! HA!
--
Don't try to blame the economy on Obama.

The blame for that lies squarely on the shoulders of the so-called "legitimate" President Bush, who continues to make sure that he and his buds on Wall Street squeeze every penny from middle-class and lower-middle-class people.

As I write this, Bush is in a frenzy, changing laws in order to make Obama's job harder and American lives LESS safe.  (See article below.)  So there's a LOT of harm that Bush has caused that needs to be undone by President Obama, assuming that Obama can find all of it, considering secret signing statements, etc. that Bush has used to thumb his nose at Congress for the last eight years.  The economy is probably the biggest problem at the moment, and that's a gift TO Obama and the American people FROM Bush and his Wall Street BFFs.

Bush aides push for rule to hamper worker health protections

11/29/2008 @ 6:59 pm

Filed by RAW STORY

Bush administration aides are rushing to pass a safety rule which would make government regulation of workers' exposure to toxic chemicals more difficult; a rule President-elect Barack Obama opposes.

Public health officials worry the decreased protections will result in additional, unnecessary deaths.

It is just one of about 20 controversial Labor Department proposals being pushed by large business interests, according to a published report.

Other proposals would allow power plants to be built closer to parks and wildlife preserves, and further limit the role of environmental and animal experts in determining where major infrastructure projects may be carried out.

President-elect Obama has long been critical of the Bush administration's removal of workplace protections. During the campaign, Obama co-sponsored legislation which would prohibit this specific deregulation.

While presidents have the authority to unilaterally repeal their predecessor's executive orders, the process to remove or add regulations is more complicated and takes longer. Obama has already undertaken a review of President Bush's executive orders, with the stated goal being the repeal of those he deems to be unconstitutional.

"I think across the board, on stem cell research, on a number of areas, you see the Bush administration even today moving aggressively to do things that I think are probably not in the interest of the country," said John Podesta, co-chair of Obama's transition team. "I think that’’s a mistake."

I will blame the Obama administration of course.
If his policies lead us to that end, the blame will lie ultimately with him.

Oh, I see. You are one of the partisans. Sorry for trying to conduct a reasonable discussion with you. Have a nice day.
Yep! That's it! Blame what Bush has done on Obama...

...again!  LOL!

How pitiful.

and you blame Obama for this mess?
Oh... God forbid... going on Leno resulted in thousands of dead and more thousands maimed Americans in an illegal war that put us where we are now. Americans forgotten. Earth forgotten. Money he does not have? GW spent money he did not have to murder. At least Obama's intentions are inherently not evil.

So much more I could say, but it would go on deaf ears.
You cannot blame their moving on Obama -
They would have done that no matter who is in office and the auto bailouts started before this administration.
I blame Obama and all of Congress for this one.
nm
The will of the people voted Obama in
and the will of the people voted down gay marriage. There is no gray area.
Excuse me, but I voted for Obama and

I have never questioned the authenticity of his birth certificate.  I am not a supporter of Bush but he is our President until Obama is sworn in as President.  GP, you jumped to all types of conclusions because I mentioned it was time to stop ranting and raving about Bush.  That does not mean I am a Bush supporter.

Even Obama has made his peace with Bush and he is working with him.  I think it is high-time you allowed for difference of opinions between dems and pubs.  If the pubs want to question Obama's birth certificate athenticity, then so be it.

yes, and many people who voted for Obama can think for themselves too

Obama inherited what he voted for! nm

Not right, as far as I can remember 59% voted for Obama...nm
nm
I don't understand how you can blame Obama for the retreat?
This is a yearly thing they do. He just attended this year. It was not for him or by him.

Also, he could not know the tax situation of each person he was interested in having in these positions unless they tell him and until they are researched. I don't know the tax situation fo each person that I do business with and never will because there is no reason for me to know. Once this information becomes public, if he continues to support them then yes that is a problem - one I think he already apologized for.

I don't think it will be a problem again.
Obama and Biden voted for the bridge to nowhere....twice....

Hmmm....after all that castigating of Bush for Katrina...Obama and Biden had chance to shift funds for the Bridge to Nowhere to Katrina relief...and voted AGAINST it in favor of the bridge.

Now that Alaska is front and center in the news again, it is a good time to catch up on a favorite story, The Bridge to Nowhere, using the Washington Post US Congress Votes Database.

Though Gov. Palin originally supported the earmark spending on the Ketchikan bridge (“to nowhere), she eventually killed the project, choosing to spend Federal money on other infrasturcture programs.

However, Sen. Biden and Sen. Obama voted for funding the Bridge, even when given a second chance by Sen. Tom Coburn (R), who proposed shifting earmark funds to Katrina relief.

Sen. McCain did not vote on the Coburn Amendment, though he is on record as opposing the Ketchikan bridge earmark.

Obama voted to extend the Patriot Act...
just so you know. After he said he would work to repeal it. There's some honesty for ya. Frankly, I don't think throwing your pastor and mentor of 20 years under the bus for your political career is particularly moral either. But that is just me.
If Obama plan is socialism then it was just voted in.
Got it?
Obama also voted not to fund troops in combat....
It should be apparent to all of us by now that whatever you can find on one politician you can find on another... :)

McCain's legal adviser has already voted for Obama.
Yet another high-profile Republican has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama — and this time, it’s one of Sen. John McCain’s own advisers.

Charles Fried, a conservative legal scholar, Harvard professor and former solicitor general under President Ronald Reagan, has asked to be removed from McCain’s list of advisers and thrown his support behind the Democratic presidential nominee.

Nobody cares who you voted for, you bash Obama now and that is not patriotic
nm
My DH and I, both middle-aged and white, voted for Obama because
we loved his intelligence and his views.  Plain and simple.  Blackness had nothing to do with our decision to vote Obama.  May be hard for you to believe, I understand.  Anyone who was against the Iraq war showed thoughtfulness, wisdom, and courage to buck his own party, number one in my book, and millions of others thought the same way.  Too bad your coffee is laced with poison, and you HAD better HOPE he gets the country turned around for your own sake.
Her point is that Obama voted repeatedly against tax breaks for the middle class and suddenly he'

the middle class person's best friend!  Funny how now he wants to help us, when each time he had the opportunity to, he voted against it.

Dems voted for it, Biden voted for it....
Bill Clinton signed it into law. Plenty of blame to go around. McCain asked for regulation of Fannie/Freddie in 2005. Dems blocked it. The Dem record is slightly worse in the regulation/deregulation arena.

But...plenty of blame to go around.
Cut the crap already!

The below question was asked on August 24, and MT responded as quoted below.

Are the Bush supporters, those who voted for him, are you going to join the civilian corps to support the cause you believe in?

MT:  Yes, I will join. I was there once, I will go again. No problem at all. NM

For crying out loud, it's still on the board!!  When are you people going to get smart enough to figure out that you can't lie about your words once you've put them in writing and they're still there for everyone to see???!!  Just because Bush does it all the time doesn't mean that it's okay, because the majority of Americans are sick of him and his lies, as well!!

And, yes, I know what you mean about feeling dirty and needing a shower.  I feel that way every time I'm accosted by a liar that believes it's superior.  EWWWWWWWWW YUCK!

Go back to your own board.  Nobody from this board has bothered you there, and you and those of your ilk just can't stand it, can you??

No crap for me either (nm)

Well crap....they took it off.

They had another one like this one and it was taken off too.  Evidently it struck a nerve with some people.  It was a really good video too.  That sucks.

Sorry you didn't get to see it.  You would have liked it.  It basically showed facts pointing to the financial crisis starting back with Carter and then with Clinton and linking Dodd and Obama and how their name kept coming up with all of this.  Pretty much pointed the finger of blame to dems.  It had some really good music with it too.

It is just such crap
used more bad language today than I have in I don't know how long.... flippin' aggravating...WOODEN ARROWS????? WHAT THE HECK IS THAT????
the same old crap we need
:)
OH CRAP. DOW BELOW 8,000
x
When would it be okay to add this crap?
I don't understand where it's okay that the taxpayers (i.e. you and me) should pay for new furniture for a government office or new cars to government employees or pay for Hollywood producers to buy movies? When did it become okay for us to fund this kind of garbage? And why are the people in Congress who think this is okay still in Congress?
They would just crap themselves
if nobody paid their taxes.  LOL!  However, I think too many people would be afraid not too and those courageous ones who didn't would be in deep trouble.  You won't get a free pass like Geithner and Daschle.
Oh well crap.
You knew what I meant.  LOL.  I'm so used to typing certain words that they just kind of happen without me realizing it.  I guess I need to start proofreading what I type on here.
you know why? because the way you see it, is crap...nm
nm
"Holy CRAP" is exactly what that ad is.
nm
Holy crap...I believe in everything

Al Queda says.  Sheesh.  Are you friggin kidding me?  Who isn't to say they are just saying this to scare people into ushering in Obama because they like him.  Besides, as for McCain following Bush's failed war.....we are winning....the surge was successful....get a clue.

Do you honestly think that if AL Queda does something to us that Obama will just sit back and not do anything?  Obama has said he will not take military action off of the table.  So this whole.....Obama will stop the war crap.......you can't count on that because you don't know what those freaky psychotic terrorists have up their sleeves.  It all sounds good as another failed promise though huh....I will stop the war.  Just like he won't raise taxes on middle class even though raising taxes on businesses will trickle down to us and they will jack up prices of their products and we will pay for the tax hike that way....not to include the fact that all of Obama's plans cannot be covered by taxing the rich alone and he will have to raise taxes on the rest of us folks as well.....WAKE UP AMERICA!

Crap. The more I am looking into videos

This video is bothering me.  Obama makes a statement and he then makes it out to be that it got twisted and everyone laughs and jokes about it, but then he says while everyone is laughing, "BUT IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO."  Do people not see who he really is and how he acts?

I'm just really over the race crap
They talk about how everything is so unequal when, at least in the south, that is complete crap. My husband can't get a job because he's NOT a minority. I can't get scholarsips because i'm NOT a minority. The government doesn't provide help to poor WHITE people because they are NOT a minority.

This man would have never been elected if he was NOT black. Excuse me, HALF BLACK.

You can't back any of your crap up....
so, reference to Jesus/dinosaur is a metaphor for your lack of education and understanding.
Reading this crap is what
Why do you call him the messiah? Can't anyone do a good job without your sour grapes bubbling over?

Your posts make me sick. If Obama stood on his head and spit out wooden nickels, you would somehow find fault with that and post some inflammatory statement about it. That's what is SICK.
Oh well crap...typo.

I should have typed accept instead of except.  Sheesh.  I thing I need another cup of coffee.

The ad is pretty much crap. I did a bit of research...

and found some info. (which I should have wrote down where) about the whole thing.  Yes, Ayres and Obama worked for the same board a long time ago.  Ayres contributed a big whole $200 to some campaign of Obama's a long time ago.  And, the whole reference of his political career starting at Ayres house is a joke.  When Obama first talked about going into politics he went to a party or dinner, something to that end, with some woman, a Senator I believe but don't quote me, that he was working for.  This party I guess was at Ayres house and while there, this woman announced that she was going to be retiring and that Obama should be her successor.  That's it.  If you can do some research and tell me where I am wrong or misread, please do.  I don't just automatically believe everything I see, I actually do some research.  Obama has said he knows who Ayres is that they once worked together.  Personally, that doesn't make someone my friend.

Also, I read somewhere too that that ad on TV is pretty much illegal due to some campain reform that was made in 2003.  I don't know the whole whys of that, but did read something about that.

Holy crap....I teared up on that one.

I can't even imagine knowing that I was alive only because the abortion my mom tried to have failed.  I know my mom was given the option of abortion with me because she was older and they were afraid it would put too big of a strain on her kidneys.  Thankfully, my mom refused.

What I have NEVER understood is how abortion is not considered murder and you can legally have an abortion.  However, if a pregnant woman is shot in the abdomen and her unborn child is killed, the gunman can be put on trial for murder or if the unborn child and mother both die it is considered a double murder.  Why is it murder in one instance and not another.  It is still taking the life of an unborn child.  Just because one is wanted by its parent and the other isn't....so I guess that makes abortion okay since the parents don't want it....just kill it.

I'm sorry....I know you guys are tired of abortion debates.  This is just my opinion.  You all are welcome to your own opinion in this matter.  So don't bash.  If you don't agree....fine.

huffingtonpost is crap. That garbage should be
nm
I have heard this, and what a load of crap....
even if that were true, which I highly doubt...why doesn't he fire his accountants who exploit any loophole there is, and not take any deductions and pay more? No one is holding a gun to his head and forcing him NOT to pay more taxes. Why doesn't he give the cleaning lady a freaking raise??

There is that box on your return you can check and just write a check to the Treasury. Why doesn't he do that?

I heard Warren Buffett say this morning, about putting 3 billion into GE, "I am greedy. I am doing this to make money." I don't think there is anythng altruistic about Warren Buffett. He is one of those Wall Street rich folks people on this board have been talking about hating. This "crisis" is right up his alley....he is going to make billions.

Not all corporations are of Buffett's mind...and I repeat again...who do you think employs most of the people in this country? Who? Small businesses, corporations, and rich people. They already account for more than 80% of what goes into the Treasury NOW.

And how can Obama cut the taxes of 95% of Americans when 95% of Americans don't pay taxes??
