You presented your case without editorial comments, cited the source, made a bash-free observation, did not demean the candidate you oppose or their suppoters and drew a logical conclusion without a parting shot. This is a convincing argument. Though I agree with almost none of your political beliefs, I would defend this against followup from my own party that showed any kind of disrespect.
