my children could never "disappoint" me.  Are they going to make mistakes?  Yes, they are human, after all.  I've made tons of mistakes in my own life and I am all the better and wiser for it and, while no parent wants their child to ever be hurt, my only hope is that they will look at their mistakes as a learning process for how to make better decisions in the future and, while I may not always agree with their decisions, I have to support them for being independent thinkers.


You and I have vastly different ideas on this subject, obviously, but to each his own, and as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."  LOL
