Because we all have a spirit whether you believe it or not. I sm
didn't believe it for a long time. I could argue with you all day long but my testimony and total life change came about after finding God and receiving Jesus. You can say all you want, but you just can't argue with a completely changed life.

Besides, a lot of atheists who try to disprove that God ever existed will usually come to the conclusion that there is too much evidence to prove that He does exist. It usually scares the you know what out of them and they become converts.
That's the spirit....(sm)
If you don't have anything constructive to say, you run out of ideas, or maybe you're feeling a little defensive, just starting slinging more mud.  That's just pitiful.
That might be true in spirit...however...
I know you know that there are many more among us who do not think as individuals than do. That is why people like Hitler, Jim Jones, et al, can make a whole group of people hate enough to condone mass killing, or a whole group of people kill themselves for pete's sake...yeah, they should have resisted, but they didn't...because not everyone is as strong-minded as you appear to be. You have to know that from history. And, a person has to want to resist it..has to want to seek other information...and frankly, Barack's followers don't. I did not say he made them hate, but something about him seems to inspire that in his followers. They don't see it, so I suppose they just don't have the want or will to explore those broader avenues you are talking about.

...and generally people like that don't want to resist it..they want to be part of the crowd. Look at some of the people on this board...totally, utterly, completely against any kind of information that does not support their beliefs or their candidate. THat makes my point. They are not interested in broader or alterative information. Whatever comes off a liberal blog or out of Barack's mouth is the only truth they know or want to know. Same thing with his followers at the convention or anywhere else. You stick a microphone in their face and say name one accomplishment, name something in his resume that makes him ready to be President? Mostly you get no answer, or you get he represents change. Change to what? Just change. What do you like about him? He's young and a great orator. Does that qualify him to be President? I don't know, I just like him.

As to indoctrination of children...you think a child of two radical islamist parents is going to use his/her mind to seek broader or alternative information? Or the children of two white supremacists?
It's really nice to encounter a kindred spirit
relentless witch hunt and all its obnoxious aspersion casting. I agree with your keen observations 100% and feel especially proud when I see the cool, calm and collected one rise above the fray.
I guess it is the idea that in the spirit of Christmas the NRA is pushing their agenda...sm
Is nothing sacred? And that goes beyond politics.

Santa with a gun. Right over baby Jesus. Insinuating that Muslims want to blow up Christianity. All in the name of being able to bear arms.

I can't name ONE act of terrorism in American history in the last 100 years that a citizen bearing arms would have saved ONE person from a terrorist.

A gun wouldn't have helped anyone in the trade center, can't take them on a plane so wouldn't have saved any of the passengers, Oklahoma bombing, nope a gunn wouldn't have helped those victims. Just another scare tactic, exploiting 9/11 to push their agenda that was here before waaaayyy before the fact.
