Im amazed, actually delighted that more and more republicans who actually always towed the republican line, defending the republican president are speaking out.  Craig Crawford, I used to watch him on the McLaughlin Report and he was a republican and defender of republicans.  Well, I have been reading some posts by him and his tune is a little changed, not so much the blinded republican, defending no matter what..I think its great.
Uhh...no...Bush would still be in Crawford Texas
We would still have weeks, if not months, of hillbilly wrangling before we tried to "talk" the pirates out of releasing the captain.

It just sucks that you people have to admit that Obama did a good job. It really sucks eating crow.
Doggone it you're right.

Maybe she ought to try my husband's folksy "goshdangit!"  She's obviously brilliant, can't see why anyone wouldn't support her for president. LOL

I'll be doggone!!!!
I was looking for some documentation about the AmX bail-out and what did I find????  The next big biz looking for a handout is apparently going to be the newspaper industry.  Here's a question for ya.....why can't MTs "restructure" as a group and qualify for a bail-out????
Have you read Attack the Messenger by Craig Crawford...sm
He was on Fox and Friends today talking about the press and politics and I'm wondering if this is a good book?
Now dagnabit, wait just a doggone minute!!!
Why on earth would you think WORKING Democrats would want to support freeloaders any more than working Republicans??  Uterly ridiculous!
Those doggone Israelis are just sooo touchy...
I mean they get angry just because Hamas randomly shoots missles into their cities so I understand the outrage from the media.

I agree with this commentary

"This is really so completely ridiculous. For days the Muslim Hamas goons in Gaza launch rockets at Israeli civilians. The "Arab world" is quiet. Then Israel retaliates and the "Arab World' suddenly goes nutso. How long do we tolerate this asinine double standard?

Where was the Arab world when those rockets were being fired at innocent Israelis? Sitting on their butts and shutting the h@!! up, that's where .. and the same goes for much of the oh-so-enlightened European Union. Then Israel retaliates and the world is coming to and. Everybody tells Israel to be careful about causing civilian casualties. Do any of you remember "the world" telling Hamas to be careful about where they aim those rockets? Did "the world" warn Israelis about civilian casualties among the so-called "Palestinians?"

Hamas tells Israel that if they don't stop their assault then Hamas is going to resort to suicide bombings. Are you believing this? Hamas feels free to fire rockets indiscriminately into the Israeli civilian population. They're telling Israel that if it tries to stop them from playing with their rockets, they'll move on to suicide bombs. In other words ... the message is that Israel just has to endure the rocket attacks and do nothing in return.

Israel is to be admired here. They have a civilian population to protect, and the h@!! with world opinion. When "the world" shows as much concern for innocent Israelis dying under Hamas rocket barrages as it does for Palestinians, then maybe Israel will listen.

You are the one woh needs a brush up.
When the electoral college "overturns" the popular vote, it happens because the delcared victor has won the states with the most electoral votes....the way Obama has done with a WAY more than ample margin of 192 PROJECTED electoral votes. There were 3 times this happened, not 4 as you claim(did you read your own article?). The 4th time was when the electoral votes were tied and the House of Represenatives decided the election (1824). In the other 3 instances, the widest margin of difference between the popular votes was 3.1% (in the 1876 election)...less than half the 6.8% margin Obama holds over McCain. The popular vote margin of difference in 1888 was only 0.8% and in 2000, even less at 0.5% (with considerable help from a little fraud and voter suppression here and there).

So the answer to the other poster's question would be NO, in history the election has never been overturned by the electoral college with this wide of a margin....NOT EVEN CLOSE. That would make her premise valid....you'd be grasping at straws. Suck it up. Obama is our next president.
YOU, whoever your are, should brush up on your history!..nm

Better brush up on your French, Sirpercy.

Tit-for-tat. Tsk, Tsk. Time to brush the teeth.

You need to brush up on your civics/history.......... sm
And for the record about 5% is not a large margin.

The electoral college has overturned the popular vote 4 times in history and some of the "politicking" that went on in those days rivals what we have today.

My, we sure are painting all conservatives with a broad brush...
I have criticized Bush on numerous thing, including this pandering to the Mexicans in regard to our border control.  Please don't assume every conservative is just a lock step mindless zombie.  Lots of people say that about liberals, but I disagree with that too.  There are a million shades of gray, across both sides of the political aisle.
Don't paint all Dems with the same brush. There are extremistis...sm
in every party, repubs and dems alike. This is a sick joke, not worthy of anyone with any intelligence.
I wonder if he'll be allowed to take the famous brush!!

With respect to "the brush," didn't...
...he say recently (I'm paraphrasing here) that he'll still have the brush, but since he's no longer governor, the brush will be smaller.  LOL!
You know how you hate it when conservatives paint libs with the same brush? sm
We don't like it either.
Oops, meant "not clueless." Perhaps I'm not clueless but need to brush up on
