How about ....

"one nation under God" as it says in the pledge of allegiance to our flag. How about our money which says "in God we trust." True Christianity is not arrogant but is humble. We put our faith into someone bigger than ourselves. And no, I do not wonder about why there is animosity. I respect the rights of other to believe or not believe as they choose. It's call respect. You might consider it. Perhaps if more Americans behaved according to Christian principles, our nation would be in better shape. As a Christian I believe in honesty, fairness, respect for all living things, decency and morality for starters, things that I wish everyone would practice. And as to your statement about these same laws exist around the world, been to Iraq, Afghanistan, China. Darfur lately? No, these laws do not exist around the world. You should be thanking your lucky stars every day that you are American, living in a country founded on these (Christian) principles that laid the groundwork for so many of the freedoms you enjoy (some take for granted), like the ones that allow you believe what you choose and to freely express those strong opinions of yours without fear of reprisal. Try doing that under Sharia law, another set of religious "principles".
