1. I'm trying very hard to see what your line rate has to do with the Defense Department budget, but I can't quite get there.
2. No doubt, there have been faults on both sides of the management-labor equation. My point is, despite being perhaps the strongest in the nation, the auto workers' union did not save their jobs, and you should not presume that a transcription union would do so either.
I'm neither a "union" or a "nonunion" person, but I do know the history of labor unions in this country and we can discuss that if you'd like, providing that you yourself are truly informed about it rather than merely having a cache of union slogans to offer.
