I'm sorry, I misspoke

I do understand the fact that you are against expanding S-CHIP. I understood that before. I understand the reasons that you are not for expanding it and I do respect your opinion. I will agree to disagree.

I do have one question for you - and it is an honest question, I'm not being obnoxious - Can you document anywhere if there would be some sort of pay scale/range for qualifying for SCHIP? Meaning, say if I live out in the middle of nowhere and my housing costs only 6,000 per year. Obviously, then with an income of 80,000 I would certainly be able to afford insurance. But, say I live in Manhattan because my job is there and my housing costs 48,000 a year. That would put a significant dent in the 80,000 a year income. Is there a way that they account for this? I have done research, but cannot find this documented anywhere. Can you?

The VP is head of the Senate. She was talking to a 3rd grader and was trying to put it on terms that the child might understand.

At least she didn't say "....my Muslim....er, my Christian faith....."

I'm so done.
