Sorry, but seriously. We are in for so much trouble and most people are pulling an ostrich trick and sticking their heads in the sand.
A man at my church read this saying he has in the front of his Bible out loud yesterday, explaining what helps him when sometimes he thinks his faith may be wavering...
(this is not word for word just what I can remember)
Suppose the Bible isn't true? What have you got to lose by believing in it and following it? Even atheists agree it is a good blue print for life. Therefore you have nothing to lose.
But suppose the Bible is true? And you don't believe in it? Then what do you have to lose? EVERYTHING.
Like I said, not word for word, but I think you get the idea.
So for those of you who don't believe in anything, what have you got to lose? Even if you don't believe in Jesus, following the "blueprint" of the Bible would do this country so much good! And I guarantee that through following it, some may come to know Jesus and eventually accept His sacrifice for us. He still loves you, even if you don't love Him.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday sent a bill to the Senate that would strengthen the U.S. government's international reconstruction capabilities.
The bill (S. 613), the Reconstruction and Stabilization Civilian Management Act, was passed by unanimous voice vote. It answers the president's call in his State of the Union address for a civilian reserve corps to assist in post-conflict situations to ease the burden on the armed forces' role in reconstruction and stabilization.
The bill was sponsored by Senate Foreign Relations ranking member Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and FOREIGN RELATIONS CHAIRMAN JOSEPH BIDEN, D-Del., who introduced a similar bill in 2006 that passed the Senate but stalled in the House.
"Our committee's focus has been on boosting the civilian side of our stabilization and reconstruction capabilities, while encouraging improved mechanisms for civilian and military agencies to work together on these missions," Lugar said when he introduced the bill in February. "Those who were once unconvinced of the need for such a corps have only to look at our experience in Iraq and Afghanistan to understand its value."
The act authorizes the Office of the Coordinator for Reconstruction and Research within the State Department that will organize and recruit for the new Response Readiness Corps. The corps will be made up of 250 active-duty personnel and 2,000 standby personnel, with most employees coming from the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
The bill also contains language that calls for 10 percent of State Department and USAID employees to be members of the corps within three years. There would also be a 500-member civilian corps of private sector experts and consultants. The bill authorizes $80 million for fiscal 2008 and each fiscal year after that, along with a $75 million crisis response fund for each fiscal year.
"If we cannot plan better as a government, the United States may come to depend even more on our military for tasks and functions far beyond its current role," Lugar said.

This is absolutely a fact - a fact that has been swept under the rug by the liberal media. Actually, there are a LOT of facts that are swept under the rug, while we focus on the fact that Palin's daughter is pregnant, or that her clothes are too expensive, or her lack of experience (they conveniently avoid the fact that Obama was in congress 143 days, and most of the time didn't even bother to vote). Do the American people know that there is a lawsuit pending regarding the fact that Obama was born in Kenya? (His own family members have stated this fact). I doubt that little fact was leaked out to too many CBS or CNN viewers. Do the American people know the magnitude of the fraudulent votes through the Democratic group Acorn (over 200,000 in Ohio alone!) And one of the heads of ACORN insists this is not a ploy to win the election. Oh really?? If this were a group of Republicans registering the dead and nonexistant to vote all he** would break loose. But it's not - it favors the Democrats, so we'll sweep that under the rug, too...

We’ve already seen how Barack manages large programs, under the Annenberg Challenge with Bill Ayers he gave away a total of 150 million to gaggle of community activist groups to improve schools. Some of those groups were radical, but putting that aside a moment you can see that the vague “feel good” instead of results-oriented direction under Obama just created monumental waste with zero results. The other cities given these grants saw improvement, Chicago stands alone with zero improvement.

I have always been a Republican, but I have to say I am very disappointed by what I see. The news is getting worse and worse everyday because we have 24/7 news! Everyone under the sun has a 1 hour news show where they have to talk about something and the economy is what they focus on. I never see any good news anymore. It seems they are more worried about what Fox is saying and Fox is worried about what so-and-so said on another station. A bunch of little boys trying to see who has the bigger penis (sorry, but true). So it is an all out slamming war. I always thought Republicans/Conservatives were patriotic - oh not so now!! They are the ones throwing the tantrum and being negative about EVERYTHING! They aren't supporting the president or who is in charge. Where is the hope? Where is the proud American attitude? The dems won, it's their turn, stop listening to the "doom" messages and wait to see what happens. GEEZ! Like I said, I am a Repubican, and I will accept this plan for the economy and I will support my president. Just because most of the plans don't improve my life, doesn't mean they don't improve the life of someone else who deserves it and our country. Some of our government's biggest problems is that the Democrats have become liberals (our last true Dem was Kennedy) and the Republican party seems to have forgotten what it is supposed to stand for. Reagan, IMO, was our last true Republican prez. The president should be a highly respected position and the media should not be asking questions like "do you wear boxers or briefs?" Thanks to that, I have images of Clinton in his underwear and it makes me want to sear out my corneas.
