Bill O'Ego is SO desperate to get his "religious" viewers riled up so they will unite and vote repub. Last night, he was outraged (he and Hannity have so overused that emotion) because a Catholic church in San Fran did not respond with hatred and/or violence when two people presented to church in outlandish outfits to receive communion. The film shows them standing in line quietly and receiving the wafer and walking away. O'Ego felt it was a great ATTACK on his religion and felt that this should be BIG-BIG news. Claims the media is covering it up. He said if HE had been there . . . well . . . you know what a big he-man he is . . . It is obvious he is trying to divide people. According to my reading, jesus said turn the other cheek, and love one another. Ann Coulter then appeared and they discussed how she was so innocent and being attacked. Oh me brothers . . . .

The thing you guys don't understand (or are ignoring) is that healthcare is a HUGE expense out of the federal budget as it is now. At this point it is absolutely essential to get that cost under control, which means reform. Cutting the cost of healthcare and yet making healthcare available to everyone is a win - win situation.

It's simply not true that Cindy Sheehan had "nothing but praise" for Bush and has now done a 360-degree turn. It's Drudge and Limbaugh nonsense with quotes taken out of context and spun to try and seem....what? It's nothing if not illogical. Aren't those intent on smearing her loudly proclaiming that she has been anti-Bush and anti-war since long before her son was killed? Then why would she fall all over herself praising him AFTER her son was killed? It makes no sense at all, but the attackers aren't really big on making sense apparently. They just throw all the garbage at the wall and see what might stick, that's how they operate.
What I really don't get is what the attackers are meaning to say. Even if it were true that Ms. Sheehan "did a 360" - point please? So what? So perhaps she was trying to make the best of a bad bad situation and least be respectful toward the president in consideration of his meeting with her and other family members - but since then, as she says herself, we have had the Downing Street proof, we have learned there were no WMDs at the time we invaded, we have learned all sorts of unbelievably horrible things - why SHOULDN'T anyone let those things change their views?
Now she just wants to know what this "noble" cause is that the President keeps referring to, and she wants to ask him to stop using the dead to justify making more unnecessary dead. But oh no, she must have an AGENDA! - well seems like that's it, isn't it? She wants to know and she wants him to look her in the eye and explain himself. And why shouldn't he? Or more precisely, why can't he seem to be able to do it? If he is sincere in his beliefs and committed to the cause, considering he's such a straight-talking nice guy, what's the problem? What is the big deal? It could all be over with in an hour. Why won't he just do it?

I had never heard that. I don't watch survivor, American Idol or other shows like that. I'm too busy working 16 hours a day to save up because if if Obama wins I'll at least have a little extra money for food cos he's gonna take everything else I have.

her show all the time. Since she turned her show into a political agenda, I'll pass. The remark that got me was when she stated she would have Palin on AFTER the election.

Before anyone screams about keeping the "religious" posts on the Faith board, let me just say that while, the world, or at least the US, is screaming for religion to stay out of government and government to stay out of religion, these two will become so intricately intertwined over the next years that there will be no separating them. There will be a one-world government, a one-world currency (and you ain't gonna like what it is) and a one-world religion that will demand worship to a certain world leader (probably not Obama, but someone who will be in a high position in government) and the results will be devastating. Be watching for a peace treaty that will be signed with Israel for a period of 7 years and it likely will relate to an agricultural or energy plan developed by a scientist or group of scientists.
I urge anyone who has not already done so to study the book of Revelation and to also read the Left Behind series. Left Behind, while a work of fiction based on biblical writings, is not intended to be a Bible study guide, but it does help put in today's terms what John saw on the island of Patmos 2000 years ago, give or take a few. It's coming, folks, and you can all laugh at me or you can prepare yourselves for the worst-case scenario.

find them to be pretty accurate in their reporting. They interview others on the good and bad from the news of the day and get both sides of the picture. I don't know what is so bad about that. They are not as biased as the other news programs....believe me, I've watched quite a few mostly one-sided news.
FYI, I'm not talking about O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes, Greta VanSustern, etc. I'm talking about the regular news.

Used to watch MSNBC until they got too sickening with the love fest for him, and they became more tabloid than a news source. Fox is also the same way. When watching debates I watched on CSPAN. I heard MSNBC had cut out certain parts of the debate. So once again a so called "news" agency dictating to people what parts they should hear and what parts not to hear.
I guess if your into corruption and mob rule then you do have one good upstanding invidual that fits in that area. Investigations are ongoing, documents are out there, acquantances are recorded. Pictures are taken of him with questionable characters and he will stand and tell the people he's never met them when there is a photo of them together. These are not rumors but facts. But the rabid dems don't like to hear this, so no use in trying to bring out the truth. The rabid O lovers refuse to listen to reason. No denying there has been a lot of damage done over the past 20 years, but guarantee you it's not going to be waved away in an instant with the O's magic wand.
Personally...DH and I say who in their right mind would want this mess to try and clean up. It was bad enough cleaning up after the Clintons but this is bad.
So, I'm glad you think he is such an upstanding individual. We'll see as time goes on.

Well, I usually watch the morning
news shows local and national,then a few others after that, but they're all yaking about it. It just seems like the news doesn't have any news. Don't get me wrong. They do it with every little story. I counted 2 weeks at least on little Caylee, then nothing. I counted more than that on the 911 tragedy. After a few days of any news story, it gets really old.
How can the O be painting a room. Doesn't he have all kinds of celebrations/parties/speeches to make somewhere? I thought the three days was going to be spent doing that before THE day.
