What I find rather ironic is the fact

that you people spew out that we refuse to listen to intelligence explanations of your view points and yet....I do believe you refuse to listen to our intelligent explanation of our view points.  I have listened to your side and I still feel that the Obama administration is wrong in what they are trying to accomplish.  We have no money and yet our government keeps spending it and handing it out like we have loads of it.  It honestly amazes me that you people can't see the problem with this.

As for me....I have listened to both sides and I'm watching what is going on as opposed to just listening to Obama's mesmerizing teleprompter speeches.  His words and his actions are two different things.  I've made my decision and yes, I want Obama to fail because I feel that his agenda for our country will ruin it and who would want that.

It is also ironic that the same people who protested and complained about Bush never seemed to call themselves unpatriotic but now because a crat is in the white house, we are all unpatriotic for questioning his motives and judgment.  The double standards make me wanna puke.

As for the comments about the tea parties....I think it is rather rude and offensive for people to assume that the tea parties were nothing but a hate democrat/Obama rally.  For those of you who can't get it through your thick skulls....this isn't about democrats.  I do believe there were many signs that said republicans suck too.  How do you explain that if it was a rally against the democrats?  As for Obama, this isn't entirely about Obama.  It is about government as a whole.  So for those saying that it was a racist rally.....give me a break.  You can't blame everything on race here and yet that is all I hear.  You don't agree with Obama so you must be racist.  That just shows how narrow minded and racist some of you are.  There are other issues out there and all some of you can focus on is race.  Trust me....Obama's race is the last thing on my mind right now.

The fact that an article was written does not make it fact. I hope you know that. nm

find out. I find sam's posts to the point
nm
I'm not proud of it
just trying to use your formulas for determining aid to people which translates into dollar signs.  You really can't have a beef with Bush, because he's throwing as much or more.  I don't think throwing more and more money is going to solve the poverty woes of this country which are mostly rooted in moral deprivation.  Money will never be able to fix moral deprivation.
You can't admit the war was

I am not sure I would admit that if I were you. nm.

I believe one has to admit..
to his wrongdoing (we know how hard that is for W ) first and then repent. I do not see W doing either of those things. The only thing he can pull out of his hat to say he would do differently is use different language, like bring 'em on, dead or alive. That's it !!!!! Until he recognizes, owns up to and asks for forgiveness I don't think he'll get it. You do have to go and sin no more.
They will not admit anything except
IT'S ALL BUSH'S FAULT!
I never said I was proud.

Bush has made mistakes.  I will not disagree with that at all.  However, you cannot solely blame him for this economic crisis when there are so many things that factor into this and it includes many other people besides G.W. Bush and I'm frankly more concerned about the solution to these problems and not who to point to for blame because I don't have that many fingers to point blame to all who were involved in this.

BUT, they will NEVER admit that but will just
nm
Very proud indeed!
Yes, I'm proud to have roots in Israel.

Whoopdie-doo if your heart bleeds for Palestinians. They brought it all on themselves, and they're still bringing it on.

You have a very short-sighted view of history. My history goes back thousands and thousands of years.

Your seems to begin whenever it suits your purpose.

Palestinians are SQUATTERS! Just because you only recognize history after the Muslim INVASION does not give your Palestian pals claim to the land. This isn't a matter of 'finders keepers.'

And, who blasted the first rockets after the cease fire, braniac? They came from Hamas! From Palestians! So if you want that river to stop running red, maybe you should work on knocking some sense into the Hamas terrorist leaders.
yes and I bet if they would admit it, sm
many of those who voted for him would like to see him out of the White House now!
You have to admit...
that even if you don't like what they're saying, they are making people think about what the government is doing these days. I wish Beck had been around when Bush was in office - maybe some of the anger against congress would have shown up a little sooner.

I will admit that there are
so-called Christians who use their religion to try and control the lives of others while they do as they please.  These people definitely give others a bad name.  However, don't group all of us into that.  There are truly some wonderful Christians who do walk the walk and talk the talk.  So please be respectful.  You don't like to be stereotyped anymore than we do.
You have every right to be proud of your son.......sm
It is very apparent he is proud of his country.
I will admit that there are some
nuts as evident by the man who shot Tiller.....but not anti-abortion people are nuts.  Excuse us for caring about the life of a child that could survive outside of the womb but isn't given the chance.  Once again, you liberals are more concerned about the treatment of terrorists than the innocent lives of babies and yet you have the balls to say we are nuts.  Give me a break.
At least have the cajones to admit when you do something.
You posted the article above as a racial post and you shot the finger.  We all know it.  Someone might think you are lying.
at least you admit it was dirt

....and you obviously are not able to follow simple rules of courtesy and good manners in addition to the rules of this board.  It seems your need to deride, disdain, mock and make fun of the liberal posters on a liberal board is something that you cannot control.  You might wish to ponder at some point why you feel the compelling need for cruelty.  It does not win us over, but rather is a very poor advertisement for your far right-wing beliefs.

As far as who I am, I am the same as every other poster - anonymous with a made-up moniker.  It is NOT a good idea to post our real names on a public forum and I would advise you or anyone else against it, unless you have an extremely common name.

All I can say is Hollywood would be proud...
Quite an acting job. I call it *cheerleading.* Trying to push people into an emotional frenzy. There are many that think pushing someone into an emotional frenzy will get them to make a decision for the Lord. Trouble is, that just confuses people and when the emotion wears off the *cheerleaders* are gone, the person who has made the *decision* is confused, does not know why all the emotion left and begin to question, and have no place to turn. I personally believe the choice for God is not made in the heat of an emotional moment but in a moment of quiet, clear clarity built on a solid base of faith. I do not mean to cast aspersions on anyone's choice of faith. It is just easier to get through the every day if you have that quiet, strong knowledge of faith and not expect to slide through life on an emotional freight train. That does not mean I do not have my emotional moments, because I do; usually associated with music because that is one of the ways God speaks to my heart. However, those who make an emotional decision not based on faith and knowledge of God's word get disenchanted when the *cheerleaders* are gone. That is why counselors are present at the Grahams' gatherings, so that people can talk quietly with someone and understand their decision before it is made. That way they have something concrete to hold onto when the emotion goes away. Just my two cents worth.

God bless!
Proud to be an American

I am intolerant. I admit it.
I am intolerant of a great many things. I am most intolerant of lip service. My intolerance comes from living a life of seeing human life belittled, stepped on, and twisted by those who feel superior to others and that behavior being justified because of their beliefs, and most horrendously, in the name of their god. Yes, I do call myself a pagan now. God and I parted ways a long time ago.

I apologize to you. It seems that you have chosen a noble cause. I, however, cannot fathom how or why one can have so much compassion for one piece of humanity or human life and not another. If the children in your eyes need help the most, then how can you possibly justify the war in Iraq, or any war for that matter, is purposeful when they are dying by the thousands? Or worse, maimed for life. I do not see much balance in that.

I am going to chalk it up to perhaps that is the nature of conservatism. Or perhaps it is a lack of empahthy?

Spin the words all you want. Your posts may be written to illustrate a point of view, but with a great deal of superciliousness. I am not the only one with this belief. Others have tried to point it out as well. Perhaps they're just better at it than I am.

I call things the way I perceive them, and I don't sugar coat it and I won't apologize for it. But for the sake of propriety, I shall resist the temptation.
Nasty and proud of it.....obviously. And...
definitely not someone who should be calling someone else ignorant. But, since your opinion means les than nothing to me...knock yourself out.
well...at least you admit it. You hate....
an entire block of people you don't even know who had nothing to do with Katrina or how it was handled...simply because they are Republican.

Geez.
You seemed pretty proud yourself
Like the other poster said, own up or take cover. Defend your candidate's views and positions or bash, slam ad slur to an audience of 1.
I bet you have. Your mother must be so proud. nm

Great. Be proud. I'm not saying...sm
Not to be, and I'm not saying she hasn't accomplished anything. But that doesn't make her qualified to be the VP. Her resume is tissue-paper thin, and the McCain camp trying to inflate it is starting to backfire. The whole thing is just ill-advised. Pure pandering on McCain's part.

That's what I meant above when I said some women are taking her nomination too personally, like this is our one and only chance to ever have a woman in the White House, and there will never be another! LOL

It will happen, and when it does, I want a woman who is qualified, not a woman who, IMO, is blinded by ambition and is being *used* as a shill by right wing MEN. This is no great thing to be proud of for woman. Don't fall for it.

surprised to see Mc admit

that the US tortured prisoners. He said we won't ever torture prisoners AGAIN.  He stood around and allowed that to happen -- he the man who wants all to remember his pow experience?

Even I will admit that KO is extremely
biased toward Obama. Have you see McCain in the Membrane? But I do enjoy his humor. I often wonder though, who has to pick up those papers off the floor after he throws them at the camera?
Are you proud of Bush's
"accomplishments?" You keep defending him. If he hadn't given those big tax cuts to the wealthy in the first place and hadn't started an unnecessary war in Iraq, we wouldn't be in this big financial mess. You don't cut taxes in a time of war...oh...unless you're a pub. They always seem to have it backwards. Everything they do is the opposite of what should be done. I'm sick of it and can't wait for a fresh start. It'll take time, but after Obama gets elected, he'll turn this country around.
Did she not say she was not proud to be American...
until now with her husband running for president. I think that says a lot. And since you don't know one thing about me either, do not go making assumptions my race, nationality, religion, my political affiliation, my attitudes, intelligence or anything else
They don't want to see the truth or admit the
truth because if they did they would have to admit that Bill Clinton, outside of Jimmy Carter, was the worst president this country has ever had....and now, they are so stupidly blind that they think Obama is going to bring "change" but it will be a change that no one can stomach or live with. All I can pray for is that there will be a second American Revolution and that we the people, under the law of the Constitution, can and will form a new government, one that is not corrupt and one that has not one DEM in office!!!
I admit that I am not black.

I guess you could say I have not walked in a black person's shoes.  However, don't for one second think that I have never felt racism.  I've seen the glares and dirty looks aimed in my direction by black people.  I've given smiles to strangers who instead of smiling back would glare hatefully at me.  I've said, "I have a nice day," to people who have either given me a dirty look or turned their back to me.

I was at a hospital visiting my dying father when I left with my son to get something to eat.  My son is very young and has a developmental delay.  A black mother and her daughter walked onto the elevator with us.  My son, not knowing any better, looked at the little girl and commented that she was brown.  Without even thinking I said, "Yes she is.  Isn't she beautiful!"  The mother gave me the dirtiest look.

If he screws up - I will admit it, but ....
I don't see that he did anything wrong. Traditionally, maybe the meetings are kept secret - but nowhere is that a written rule. And Obama did not go to the press and repeat his conversations, an aide anonymously released the information.

In my opinion, he was discussing things with his advisors and someone overstepped their boundaries releasing information. Maybe that person should be fired because they are not going to be able to be trusted?

However, I for one like to know what is going on in my country and the fact that no sensitive information was released makes it okay with me.

Obama is not perfect - he even said himself that he knew he would make mistakes. He is a HUMAN. I expect people to mess up. But remember also, he ran on a platform of change and maybe being honest and open with the American public is how he is going to begin that change.
I'm proud of Arkansas s/m

Arkansans, typically Republicans, kicked Mike Huckabee to the curb and elected a Democrat, Mike Beebe.  He's straightened out the mess.

I admit I am surprised at your age.
I think the majority of the older people realize what is coming.  "Conspiracy" isn't exactly such a bad word for it.
I am proud that RW is being allowed to
been convicted and knows in HIS heart to be right without fear. I hope there has been no compromise or deal in the background made and I do not believe RW is of this character. I am afraid that you are right, the people who elected Obama will not be listening to what RW will have to say because they do not know who he will be talking to. I know this is just something for you and a lot of others to just laugh off, but one of the saddest days of this election was the day the Billy Graham Ministry resigned as as pastor/counselor to the the president since serving in that capacity since Eisenhower. They resigned just a few days after Nov 4.
Can you really not admit that there is a bias?
If this guy had done this same piece but insert Obama's name instead of Palin's, not one of the liberals would have had anything to say about it except praise. Yet when it's Palin, you all want to talk about "oh she's whining, she needs to grow up, etc". What needs to happen is that the media needs to get their lips off of Obama's bum.

I really can't wait until the day the media starts picking him to pieces. And it will come. One thing about affairs, eventually the fire burns out. The media will need something new and hot eventually.
So right, I am not proud of our country either but
nothing to do with O.
you freely admit that you don't

know why she left.  Your "Sue Ann" worship is more sickening than the admiration of Obama who has actual character attributes and accomplishments to admire - not just some little mind that agrees with yours. Grow up.

Proud to be an American again
Hooray for Obama. He has given America back its hopes and dreams...
I will admit that I am afraid, because
and what he states is no different than how the Arab leaders make their speeches.
I actually did admit a retraction above
too bad you think not agreeing with you equates to "screwing up"  -- Look above, other people feel the same way.  Sometimes it's hard to see the trees through the forest.
They are such hypocrites, but may never admit it,
nm
First Time I saw you admit
Thank you.
why in the WORLD are you proud of this???
you are PROUD of this spending bill? you are PROUD that your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren are going to bear the burden of this disgusting act of social programs that are thrown in to further the dems agenda? i dont know how they have a conscience passing such a thing. During the election campaign didn't Obama speak in disgust about Bush's spending?? and he turns around and whips out the BIGGEST SPENDING BILL EVER!!!

i feel sorry for you for backing your party just because you belong to it.

If this was truly to help the economy this much money wouldn't be needed.

our country is in BIG trouble but wants a quick fix. something needs to be done, but THIS?
this is too much
and it is very scary

wake up!!!
You must be so proud of your research
I'll stick by my kool-aid comment, however, that was not in this post and I'm sick of people calling me ignorant because I believed both countries were in the middle east. These wars have been going on for so long I'm sick of it all.

As for reality I have a pretty good grip on it. You know for a fact there are people who voted for Obama just because he's black! That's reality sista. I know because my brother and his friends boasted on how they didn't know his policies and they didn't care. He's black, we're black so therefore we have to vote for him because he's black. Sorry you don't like to face reality. How about the people interviewed that said that if Obama was president they wouldn't mind Sarah Palin as VP. Oh yeah, those people really understand Obama's policies. How about the people who were told McCains plan and they said yeah, that's why I'm voting for Obama, those plans there you just said. How about the thousands and thousands of people who kept boasting about if Obama gets in office that our troops will be coming home from the middle east.

I'm in touch with reality here, you are not!

And for your information. I did not attack anyone who replied to my post here but plenty attacked me for my beliefs and questions.

I'm in too. I admit I tend to just
In part because it seems that some people respond to who is posting and not what they are saying. But I am game for giving it a fair go. It only seems fair that we level the posting playing field and accept cyber-responsibility for what we post here.
Mrs. Bridger would never admit that. She's
content having her head up her backside.  :)
Admit what? Your rhetoric?
BTW, brush your teeth - your breathe stinks - I know where your head has been.
WEll then, be proud of your friend's son! nm
