tick people off but the past is the past. GET OVER IT! That is something that keeps us segregated. No matter what America does to benefit and help black communities, they still cry.....BUT OUR ANCESTORS WERE SLAVES. Okay.....fine......what if my ancestors were Jews who died in prison camps......what if my ancestors were Native Americans and were slaughtered and driven off of their lands. You don't hear them constantly whining and complaining about the world owing them......
Throughout history there are groups of people who have been mistreated by others. In the past, if you were poor....you were dirt. The rich treated you like crap and you got nowhere in life. If you were a woman, you couldn't inherit or earn your fortune....you had to choose between marrying for love and being poor or marrying strictly for money. You had no rights, etc.
I'm all for knowing your past and ancestors and being proud of the hardships they had to endure....but I don't go around acting like people owe me because of that. I think the black community has used the race card WAY to much and no matter how fair whitie is to them....some of them will still blame whitie for everything.
