I posted under Libby's post which brother up *other* families

In Reply to: Good dodge, but it doesn't let you off the hook with regards to the point - being made here. nm

Libby made it fair game.  She brought it up...

95 percent of WORKING families, not welfare families sm
Working families will get the tax break, not welfare families. The money will come from removing the tax breaks for the rich. Obama is going back to the exact tax structure Clinton had. That is when we were in the black. Bush came into office and gave the rich a break. Very simple to understand, but I guess not for Fox news watchers.
Have you ever seen me post anything about the Kenyan brother story?
I don't remember seeing that on this board at all. Maybe I missed that. I realize there are those on both sides who engage in this kind of thing...but does that mean that everyone has to en masse? Could not individuals decide that was not the thing to do, like your candidate asked?
I posted at least one post above asking to debate. TI
I was not welcomed here at all.  Are you Jewish?  If so, then you must understand what some of these posts here appear to be.
Should have posted subpoena post here.

Sorry.

If someone had posted the post I answered, yes...
It would be racist if a white person voted for someone just because he was white. It would be racist for a black person to vote for a black person just because he was black. It would be racist for a white person not to vote for a black person just because he was black. It would be racist for a black person to not vote for a white person just because he was white.

Does that clear it up for you?
You posted under my post, thus I assumed it was in response to me.

Re-read your post...what I meant was you posted...
you said he had breakfast with OBAMA bin Laden, not OSAMA bin Laden. Clearly you did not mean to..just pointing out that you did indeed type Obama, not Osama. Just like Teddy Kennedy said in speeches twice...Obama bin Laden instead of OSAMA bin Laden.

And what kind of proof do you have that Bush Sr. had brunch with bin Laden? Maybe a member of the bin Laden family, but certainly not Osama. Good lord. LOL.

And just as an aside...what proof is there that Bush Sr. was having brunch with ANY of the bid ladens??
If you go back and reread the post gt posted about Laura I responded to that. sm

And, if you were following what I was saying I was talking about the posts on the neocon board between Nan, AG and the Nameless Trolls.

Get the picture?

I didn't post a link, I posted a smard alek

reply that I think got deleted.......not unjustly.  It was dripping in sarcasm.  LOL  I believe the article it is on Yahoo news though, my husband said something about it.  I didn't post a link to it, probably someone else.

We can all agree to disagree.  What I would like for everyone to do is research the facts for themselves.  I've always felt like you can belive nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

I'm not against immigration and I don't think Lou Dobbs is either. I'm all for LEGAL immigration.  I even researched Mexico's immigration requirements and that ought to be an eye-opener for anyone who wants to compare immigration policies.  I am dead set against ILLEGAL immigration.  What I don't understand is what about ILLEGAL do people not underestand.  AND both Obama and McCain are in favor of giving people who have broken the law a "path to citizenship" translated means amnesty.  That didn't work too well  under Reagan and it won't work now which is one thing I have against both candidates because the path to citizenship is one thing they agree on but you don't hear either one of them talking about it.  That's an issue to  me.  No need to worry about terrorists when our borders are wide open and terrorists could stroll right on across our borders any time they so desired and neither NEITHER of these candidates have anything to say about that.  Why?  I'll tell ya, they both don't want to offend the Latino vote and I don't think they care whether the voters are legal or not.

Thanks Libby!
I must admit I am getting more than worried about the RW evangelicals. It is one thing to believe something, its another thing to try to legislate it so you can force your beliefs down someone else's throat. And yes, the Free Republic board is full of scary people, however, there are some normal people there too. By that I mean, not talking about how to kill all liberals etc.
Sorry Libby!
I've sorted through all my excuses and none of them work as good as a plain apology, so I apologize.

Thanks Rep for pointing that out as well!
Me too, Libby :o)
I cant wait till the Rove investigation wraps up too..and the Delay trial and the Frist situation..on and on and on..Some people say when I talk about corruption, strong arm tactics by lobbyists, cronyism and all the other baloney going on in DC..well, that is just the way politics works..I ask....WHY?  Why must we stoop to corruption, why cant we have a fair and trustworthy government?  It is possible.  Governments can be run ethically and above board. I too, Libby, am ashamed of America.  It is not the America I grew up with and I have no doubt it is not the America our founders had in mind.  Note:  To the republican antagonists who frequent the liberal board (for what reason, I have no idea), you are just wasting your energy typing a response to this post cause you will not get a response from me.  My post was intended for the liberals on this board.  Your neocon angry attack posts are not read by me..and it feels so good..
Very insightful, Libby!
Yes, a president they can relate to - perhaps even feel fondly superior too? Ok, that's a stretch, LOL.
You are beyond ignorant Libby
You are not one bit objective. You are consumed by hate. If you will look at the C-board you will see we are debating issues having to do with our president such as the Supreme Court Nominee and much to this board's generalization we've not all drank the Bush Kool-Aid. Calling us Bush groupies is grossly in error. You are sooo consumed with hate you would believe anyone but Bush....well, that tells us how far your hate has taken you.
Libby under indictment,

Rove in the grand jury for the fifth time. Claude Allen arrested.  The Wilkes-Cunningham prostitution scandal, Abramoff, DeLay, Enron...I am so glad integrity has been restored to the White House.

Libby, they are just licking their wounds. sm
They don't know what to do because their leader has been exposed in all of his grand incompetence.  Let them lick their wounds, they will get back on their board after a few weeks when there is a new story.
Good call Libby!
Of course the moderates will claim that they don't have any desire to support such blatant racial remarks. But who else do they support? Judith Miller. I've tangled with them before over Judith Miller. They love Judith Miller. Who is Miller's attorney? Robert Bennett, who just happens to be William Bennett's brother. Of course you can't pin one racist's badge upon another just because he happens to be the racist's brother. But did R. Bennett denounce his brother's remarks when talking to Wolf Blitzer today? No. All he did was get mad at Blitzer for asking a question about it.

Bush supporters on the whole seem to be woefully ignorant about who their leaders are, and how pervasive the corruption and racial snobbery are among them. They keep getting clues, but they keep ignoring them - maybe as you say, because the daring words that ought to be warnings just hit too close what they or many other Bush supporters talk about among themselves.
Libby, one sick puppy
Bestiality, pedophilia and corpose robbery..this Liddy person is a MAJOR SICK PERSON..One sick republican puppy..they ought to frye his arse, along with Cheney..and take Bush along for the stupidity that he is..
Libby dear you're on our board
and we haven't asked you to leave yet, so you can't talk about us being here when you are there.  The double standard doesn't work here.
Hey Libby, where's all the noble rich people?
Sure is a shame all those rich guys can't spring a buck for the effort. And where is the Republican base? - the pro-war screamers can't seem to put their money where their mouths are any more than they can bring themselves to enlist for the cause. Let somebody else do it, seems to be their motto!
And you keep posting LIbby..er..gt...er Dixie Doo. I would like to say you are entertaining but sm
that would be a lie.  Just the same old vomited up liberal tripe.
Hey, don't blame Libby, she didn't make it up.
That information is all over the blogs and they took it from the National Enquirer which, as you should know if you are paying attention, has long been thought to be a toy of the CIA.

AND, Laura Bush slipped up herself thinking she was off camera and made a comment about some event they were talking about, and said oh yes, that was the night we were ALL drinking! So it seems there may actually be some germ of truth in the story taken right from the horse's mouth.

But just shoot the messenger, eh!
No one is trashing Tillman's mother, Libby.
What an incredibly bizarre thing to say.  I guess that fits your bizarro alternate universe angry liberal planet view of the world.  How could anyone expect any more from you than that.  Not surprised.
Tell that to the families of the 100,000
Bet they might beg to differ.
I am sorry for their families.
x
Yes, there are other families (liberals)

with the same problems as well.  Bush's family seems to take the lead as far as number of people who are drunks or drug addicts.

Now, if you don't mind, I think I will stop responding to your posts.  It's much more entertaining watching you talking to yourself on this board.

I hope you find the attention you so desperately seek, but you're not getting any more of it from me.

Have a pleasant day, dear.

Tell that to the 7300 families who are..sm
without jobs.  How are they different from DHL's 9000????

The point is that America is crumbling down around our ears faster than we can sweep up.  I'm not blaming Bush, I'm not blaming Obama.  I am just stating the obvious.  America is dying..........is there a doctor in the house?
Hey, Libby, DeeDee and DixieDew, the neocons think we are the same poster, LOLOLOL
LOL, it is you who is far fetched.  So, now Im Libby, DeeDee and DixieDew?  You are comical, in kind of a sad pitiful way.  Kind of like an ancient demented aunt.
I never ever judge people by their families. sm
I hope no one ever judges me by mine!  No, I don't think he meant what he said.  I believe they mean he was a deputy for 17 years.  It said 17-year, not year-old.  :)
Kids from families making as much as $83,000

Bush was lying about that, as the $83,000 income level limit was not a part of the bill that he vetoed.  Also, Democrats already worked with Republicans and compromised quite a bit to come up with a bill that many in both parties agreed upon - too bad only one guy matters, huh?  It's a sad day for many struggling middle-class families, but at least the issue has had a big spot light shined upon it - hopefully we can make some much-needed changes to make healthcare more affordable now.  All kids deserve healthcare, regardless of how much money their parents make or don't make!!!

Here's a section of a New York Times Article that states that the $83,000 guideline was not a part of the bill that was just vetoed:

"This program expands coverage, federal coverage, up to families earning $83,000 a year. That doesn't sound poor to me," the president told the Lancaster audience.
Dorn says that's not exactly right, either. "This bill would actually put new limits in place to keep states from going to very high-income levels. SCHIP money would no longer be available over 300 percent of the federal poverty level, which is about $60,000 for a family of four."

The president gets to make the $83,000 claim because New York had wanted to allow children in families with incomes up to four times the poverty level onto the program. That is, indeed, $82,600. The Department of Health and Human Services rejected New York's plan last month, and under the bill, that denial would stand. White House officials warn, however, that the bill would allow a future administration to grant New York's request.

You have an issue...dissecting families.
Nice.
You are right, both sides have beautiful families sm
Obamas/Biden's and McCain/Palin.

Though, I don't know how real Cindy McCain is.
O will cut taxes for 95% to benefit WC families.
Then ask yourself which group you fall into. If you are in the top 5% economic class or area huge corporation, then by all means you should not vote for O. Take off your party hat and give this some real consideration.
The money from employees and their families...
is called "bundling." Lobbyists use "bundling" to get around finance limits.

The donkey in the room here, that you seem content to ignore, is that the Democrats, including Barack Obama, created this mess. They had a chance to stop it in 2005-2006 and did not. That is a fact. McCain tried to get legislation passed, they balked. If they did not do it for mnoney, I don't know why they did it...but the fact is, they did it, and WE are left holding the bag. And now, when Obama has a chance to help fix it, he is refusing again. Said "call me if you need me." Well I want a President I don't have to call. I expect when he is "multitasking" that he prioritizes, and the looming economic failure and the $700 billion it is going to take to get us out of it, is more important than a debate. What difference does 3 days make in the face of that?
Families abandon their own a lot anymore.
nm
Many of them are innocent and should be sent home to their families.
You should be more frightened of the American prisoners than the alleged terrorists that we have illegally held in Gitmo and tortured with the permission of George W. Bush and his cronies.

I am guessing Fort Leavenworth was there before you took up residence. If you don't like living near a prison, you are free to move.
Exactly. News states that 9/11 families
take the terrorists in his district of Pennsylvania.
U.S. Cole Families are supposedly

going to be on Fox news "later today." Just heard this. Supposedly they were at the White House in a meeting and after they left the meeting, they were not allowed back on the White House grounds. So, they're all going to Fox News to be interviewed.

Obama and USS Cole families
"It has been reported that the mother of one of the men killed on the USS Cole regrets that she voted for Obama, so there is at least 1 person who does not support him. "

Obama met with the families of the USS Cole, talked to them and listened to their concerns. That shows a lot of class and compassion. He explained that those who are responsible and need to be detained will be, and those who are not guilty will not be held. The one who just had the charges dropped will be recharged. They are trying to resolve the illegality/nebulous state of affairs at Guantanamo - not release dangerous terrorists into our midst. These, despite Rush's insistence, are not mutually inclusive terms.
Just saw 911 families speaking of their disgust with
nm
Yes, but families are in Mexico and South America.
That was my point. Of course, I have no idea what prices are down there. Never been.
Feelings, goals, interests, families...
yes. Normal no. Tolerance is far different than acceptance. I and no one in my huge family has ever harmed a person who indulges in homosexual acts. We are as tolerant as you can get as I imagine millions of others are. Just saying that homosexuality is wrong is construed to be intolerance or verbal abuse by the homosexual community.
There are many families of the fallen who praise Bush and I'm not outraged. sm
I don't understand them, but there's no outrage.

Like I said before grief is different for everyone and for people to continue to say "she's done a 360," to me is not really relevent. Most intelligent people know that grief has stages and this lady is entitled to change her mind, her feelings. That's something the neocons can't grasp, why I'm not sure. Maybe after reality and permancy set in, her feelings changed. This lady has lost her son, and you actually think she's camping out for political reasons. I mean come on. That's a ridiculous argument.

I dont think that he HAS to speak to the lady again because he has already had his press time with her while she praised him, BUT what does he have to lose by speaking with this lady again.
LOL!!!! Oh brother. nm

oh brother !!!!!!!!
Don't you ever search out the truth or do you just ignore it altogether. Obama has come out and denounced Farrakhan. He doesn't agree with him and he has told Minister Farrakhan this. He finds Farrakhans comments disgraceful and not something he wants in his campaign. However, he can't stop someone from saying they like him and want him as president. There are lots of biggots out there with enough money to get their opinion heard whether its garbage or not. Spreading malicious garbage like this is so disgusting it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I guess you would rather have a president who is a socialist (you should read about her background).
SP brother in law

Anyone see the interview on CNN last night with SP's brother in law (the one she tried to have fired).  I did not see it.  What did he say?

SPs ex-brother-in-law....
This is a man wearing the uniform of the state police.  The issues involved were:  He tasered his 11-year-old stepson (who asked him to, but what kind of responsible adult would do such a thing??  And one who would should NOT be wearing the uniform of the state police in my humble opinion), he was found drunk on the job in his patrol car, and told his ex-father-in-law if he got his daughter a lawyer he would be eating an f'ing bullet.  Now Palin says she did not fire the man who SHOULD HAVE fired this lowlife for that reason, but for other reasons.  I choose to believe her, HOWEVER, if she HAD fired him for not firing this lowlife I would be in agreement with her 110%.  This guy's boss was obviously NOT doing his job.  It is a no-brainer.  This man SHOULD have been fired.  He has no business being in the state police.  His appalling lack of judgment should be reason enough.
No, brother.
Well now, let's see. Is it that high-pitched nasal quality, the cheerleader lilt, the putred perk, the colloquialisms, the rambling, the echoes of Minnie Mouse, the shrill screech, the squeal, the Fran Drescher (Nanny) interludes, the nagging quality, the snide conceit, the holier-than-thou undertones, the sarcasm, the audible sneering, the condescension, or the arrogant tone that chaps you so?
Oh brother
So let me get this right...you ridicule and cut down anyone who posts a link from Fox yet you continue to post from BSNBC????????

Say it ain't so Joe.
