but folks in places like Elkart, Indiana, and Ft. Meyers, Florida, are desparate folks who want any kind of relief, regardless of what form it might take and what it might cost not only them and also future generations. I don't think that their opinion is necessarily indicative of the opinion of the rest of the nation. Getting folks back to work is a wonderful idea...I have no gripe about that, but there is still WAY too much pork in that package and unnecessary spending in areas that likely won't benefit the economy as a whole. And this from a President who promised no pork in his White House.
