but sometimes I feel that that is just giving a vote away basically. In my politics class in high school we did a school wide "vote" for who we wanted, Bush, Kerry, or Mccain. Basically if the people who had voted for Mccain had voted for Kerry, he would have beat Bush, but because they voted on someone who pretty much didn't have a chance anyways, they basically took a vote from Kerry and gave it to Bush. At least that's how it was explained. I guess that is where voting for "the lesser of two evils" comes in. If you don't like either one, you vote for the one you dislike the least, like a defensive vote.

That's the extent of my political know how :-D
