1. I would do away with parties. Nobody is a democrat, republican or independent anymore. You will be hired based on your knowledge. Get rid of all parties.
2. I would look at every single dime that is spent and if it's on absolutely incredibly phony programs (like funding to find out how long it takes ketchup to run uphill) that would be cut.
3. I would read each document by myself on who caused the economic crisis and then go into their office the next day and fire them and prevent them from being able to be a politician in their home state. If they messed it up in DC, they are not going to get a chance to go back to their home state and mess things up there. That would be both democrats and republican (but then again I would have done away with the parties already.
