those who feel strongly about this feel so because they believe America should continue to live by the principles it was founded on and gay "marriage" is certainly not one of those. It is a moral issue.. not a scare tactic. Democrats are normally more liberal or "anything goes" than other political parties. Republicans generally more conservative. If someone wants to vote by their principles then it would be necessary to know how a politican feels about those issues would it not?
