My grouchy mood usually doesn't last very long.  I can't wait for this election thing to be over.  The worst thing I hate is people just can't seem to get past their political affiliation and see that this country is in REAL trouble either way. 

I feel very worried about the future.  Much of our retirement is tied to the stock market.  We should be okay anyway but who knows.  The local bank where we do business says there isn't even any rumors, they are doing business and making loans as usual.  Makes one wonder.  Seems to be only big banks that are in "trouble."  A Bush bail-out for his cronies on Wall Street?  I think so.  His last great act while in office.

Off to work on the work to restore this tiny town of yesteryear where I'm sure we will be discussing politics but at least we respect each other while doing so.
