Me too

My DH always reminds me there is good and bad in both parties. Unfortunately for the republicans Bush has made it so easy to have everyone blame the republicans, however, like you said - we have a democratic congress. So why aren't the democrats being blamed (or partially blamed). Just like the impeachment of Bush. I recently read that Nixon only had 3 impeachable offenses and he was impeached. Bush has over 27 valid and proven impeachable offenses but the impeachment has stopped at Pilosi and some other democrat guy (forget the name right now). I put the blame 50/50 for the faults. IMO Bush is just a talking head. He's the mouthpiece doing the talking but the congress and Chaney are the ones running the show.

I too believe politicians will do and say anything to get elected. Once they are in they do nothing. Decreasing our dependency on oil and getting the deficit down is what I've heard each president promise he'd do something about since Carter (was too young to know anyone before then), and each president does nothing and always blames the other side as to why nothing is being done. "I tried but it's all their fault".

So I do get tired of the politics. Had to turn it off for awhile. Today is the first time I've listened to the news in about 2 weeks and one excellent thing I heard today was that Barack Obama was asking supporters of his to help Clinton offset her millions of dollars in debt and they came back loud and clear "Not no, but He!! no". They said they will give nothing to Hillary and her weezle of a husband (forget what word they used but weezle fits nicely). They said to date less than $100K has been given to Hillary to help her pay down her debt. I think Obama should not be out asking his supporters to clear or help her of her debt. People want to support him. Not use their money to help clear the debt of the person who was trying to bring him down, lied about him, launched the Rev. Wright issue, talked about him being assisinated, etc. etc etc. He needs to money to go after McCain. I don't think that should be too hard. McCain's mind is absolutely gone. He keeps referring to Iranians when he's talking about Israel and vice versa and has to constantly be corrected. His jokes are lame and so is he. My god - couldn't the republicans have gotten someone who doesn't have dementia! There were a lot of other well qualified candidates that I would have voted for in an instant - why McCain. Oh well...I did not mean to go off and that should be a different discussion.

I am with you though. Tired of politics and the "blame game".
