Not quite....(sm)

The media ran all over Hillary, but she didn't cry about it for months on end.  Palin is also not exactly helping the republican cause here by slamming campaign managers, etc.  Palin is trying to keep her face in the media, and wants the attention, probably because at this point she's going to have a hard time winning another election in Alaska, much less anything else.  Meanwhile Palin supporters are trying to keep liberals from talking about her.  Sounds like a circus act to me.
