Obama should have kept his nose out of this mess, let bankruptcy take place, let the chips fall where they may. This is a private business and when a business begins to be run poorly or inappropriatley, they go under.... plain and simple.

The government has absolutely NO business in private businesses and when Obama took it upon himself to involve his administration, he perpetuated the problem into a disaster!!

The previous administration didn't cause GM bankruptcy.... over extending caused that.

Just like Obama should have kept his nose out of the banking industry. The trillions of our dollars he took upon himself and stole from us and our children AND grandchildren were for absolutely nothing. Nothing has been accomplished by that. There are thousands of appropriately run banks in this country and if the giants had fallen, so be it. They should have stopped with all the dealings that were going on they knew full well should mot have been.

The smaller stronger banks would have stepped up to the plate but NO... almighty Obama steps in and further screws up the mess, once again, into a complete disaster. Private businesses were never to be the affairs of our government. I don't know who the "we" are you refer to, but that was all media hype. There weren't thousands of Americans telling him to bail out the banks at any cost....that was something he yammered on about via his teleprompter until he had lame brain easily led Americans believing that garbage. Most Americans with intelligence knows full well a couple of big banks failing would not have meant the end of the U.S. economy. It would, however, have meant good riddens to poorly functioning underhanded dealings that were now coming home to roost and should have been left to fail.
