People buy new TVs all the time, whether they are upgrading to a larger TV or just for a better picture, or if the one they have goes down. As long as there is TV there will be improvements, and people like to have the latest thing that they can afford. As far as converters, replacements will be needed, and equipment for new customers will be needed.
