instead of even worrying about birth control and abortion and what not, we go back to morals and stop having sex until we are mature and old enough to take care of a child if we end up pregnant?!?!
The problem is that these days children just are not taught right from wrong anymore. Not like they should be. Everyone wants to cry abuse whenever a child is spanked, but I thank God that my dad tanned my behind when I acted out! Sure it stung like heck, but it only took a couple of times before I learned "no meant no!"
We need to get back to basics in this country. Stop giving easy access to sex, sex, sex. That's all that is on TV anymore. When is the last time you watched a program that showed good family values? Even most of the shows on TV today that aren't rude and talk about sex usually make it seem like marriage is the pits, or make the husband look incompetent, or the wife to look like a nag.
Its our own fault. Yes, I am a Christian, and I say that it is the fault of the church for standing by as this nation just allows more and more crap to become available. But even for people who aren't Christian, it doesn't mean they don't have morals! Why do we put up with this?
I swear the forefathers are rolling over in their graves when they hear the misuse of "freedom of speech!" I believe they meant intelligent speech, not the garbage we hear all around us!
I was watching a movie the other day and out of the blue someone said the F word. On TV! A while back if someone said that everyone would have had a fit. Now it doesn't hardly phase anyone!
Come on people, lets just get to the heart of the issue. We wouldn't even have to debate about abortions and contraception and all these other things if the moral people in our country would just stand up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
