Since there are those that feel the government should regulate private executive salaries all of a sudden, wouldn't it ONLY be fit that the government think they can regulate EVERYONE's salary?!
After all, the democrats have ALWAYS thought the word RICH was a bad thing in this country, which of course only those who aren't wealthy think is a wonderful proclamation. Most Obama lovers who follow him blindly don't have sense enough to realize the "RICH" they loathe so, are the ones employing Americans.
Since when has a poor person EVER employed you or me?
The very fact that you're asking this question, whether it be rumor or speculation, I'm afraid implies that you are just willing to let the government do so.... I would be pitching a LOUD b@tch fit....

THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO BUSINESS IN OUR LIVES LET ALONE OUR SALARIES!! And for those that think being "rich" is such a horrible thing, bet they wouldn't think that if THEY were the ones that were wealthy and were employing others!!!
The government will regulate anything YOU let them regulate. If you are concerned, it is your place to start calling OVER and OVER your congressman and directly asking them this question and where they stand on this. Then you let them know where you stand which I hope is, "NOT ON YOUR LIFE mister will you be dictating my salary to me!
See, everyone is so caught up in this AIG thing and so many screaming regulate their salary that they haven't stopped for a minute to think if WE allow our government to start regulating private salaries, where does it stop? Surely you don't believe for a minute it would stop with AIG, which the govt has no right to do int he first place. As with anything, you give the govt an inch, they TAKE A MILE, and with this administration, more of your money!
The very fact that you are asking this question also bothers me to think that you don't realize the government by law CAN'T regulate your salary....that would be against the constitution but on the other hand, this adminstration as well as many others have railroaded laws against the American people left and right to the point there are those generations upon generations who actually believe it is the government's right to regulate their lives when the truth is, it is the American people who are supposed to be regulating GOVERNMENT!!
