Obviously you didn't see it that way. My point was that Palin has the dems running scared as well as the liberal media and they are coming out swinging with every hateful thing they have!! They see her as a truly formidable component and they DON'T like it!

You have a problem with that don't ya? Do you really think that thousands of voters who voted for Obama aren't now regretting that vote? You need to wise up.
That man stood in Turkey and said the U.S. would never be at war with Islam! His true colors came through loud and clear. Matter of fact, when he said that, he lost many thousands of voters right there. Those voters have family fighting radical Islam and being killed for YOUR country to stay safe from those sickos, and that man stood in other countries defending them.
Why didn't he talk to them about the fact that Europe is being taken over with radical Islam and that violence has become so rampant in Muslim neighborhoods, that the police wouldn't dare go in there....EVER!!
Muslims' goal is to eliminate Israel, kill every Jew on Earth, bring down the West, and bring "Great Satan" (as they like to call us) under their rule. I have YET to hear Obama speak out against Sharia law...ever!!! AND I'm still waiting for all those Muslim leaders in this country to speak out against radical Islam..... and NO they haven't, so don't try to skip around that one.
Obama wants to call countries like Pakistan, Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas our "friends" and thinks he can negotiate with their leaders. What a joke! Oh sure, we might get temporary treaties here and there, but these will only be temporary because radical Islam wants ALL non-Muslim civilizations to be destroyed. Obama should be showing force and power to these sickos, not butt kissing!
Too bad you're stuck on party lines to care anything about this country. I go with what I see, regardless of party, and what I saw on his "everyone please love me tour" made me sick!!
What surprised me about the backing was
it was on a very, very conservative talk radio, same station that sean Hannity, Neal Bortz on- in fact it was during the Neal Bortz show that this was heard. I was surprised to hear it, much less there so when you say where I supposedly heard it, you are way, way off. As far as the tea party, I had not watched the channels you mentioned in some time. I watch local from Atlanta and none of those channels played it up, neither Fox or the others. That day on all local channels in Atlanta only about 5 minute coverage then. I flipped that day between the others, CNN, MSMBC, Fox and the like and Fox was the only 1 to have it anything on.

Evil is turning around when you have no more use for the spent puppet because he went all rogue on you, assumed his own power and had the gall to defy you by controlling his own resources and proceeding to launch into impotent attempt to weaken his standing and power and bring him down, as though you are the king of the universe. Having failed that, evil is building a case for war based on lies (with the exception of the WMDs you had supplied him with 2 decades earlier), flaunting international protocol, lying to your own citizens and waging an imperial war because you do not have a clue how to solve your own problems without carnage and bloodshed. Evil is propping up a reviled, fascist apartheid state whose occupation of an entire indigenous people has been the root of the rise of the terrorism you so vehemently condemn. Evil is not being big enough to recognize your own weaknesses, take responsibility for your own screw-ups, turn a page and try other more peaceful and productive approaches to the mess you have created. Evil is manipulating your own citizens into believing your lies and propaganda for decades on end, claiming the moral high ground and turning a blind eye to the death, destruction, pain, suffering and humanitarian crises in a region you seek to control that has never and will never belong to you.

Relax - was only commenting on what I heard
We all have our opinions and all of our opinions are important to each and every one of us. What one person agrees/disagrees with certainly not everyone will. That is why I like this board. I can post a message about something I feel strongly about and get other readers feedback. Sometimes the comments can be "heated" and other times people agree and others nicely disagree. Each candidate gets "smeared" by the others, no one is perfect. But this is a great board and nice to hear other people's opinions. Also, if I happen to paste something I read from an article I will cite where I received the info from. Otherwise they are my thoughts.

candidate in my lifetime has at some time attached to the democratic candidate as a scare tactic. This is nothing new. Of note, there is a reason it is called the "democratic" party and not the socialist party, progressive party, communist party, fascist party or nazi party. We believe in a democratic party of the people, by the people and for the people, not for just the few who are the richest and think they know what is best for US.
Relax - just heard the commercial
I just listened to the commercial. No where in the commercial does McCain call Obama a terrorist. He states that the people he is associted with are terrorists. Nothing new, and no lie there. I do have to say McCain must air commercials like that to enlighten people as to the shady characters Obama associates with. The people have a right to know. Just like the commercials that Obama is putting out against McCain. When it comes to politics the Americans have a right to know exactly who these people are and who are their affiliations and what damage are they going to do to America. Besides, I've heard plenty worse lies in commercials by Obama. When asked in the debate McCain was the only one who agreed it is dirty, and was going to back down, but Obama refused and also refused to apologize for the radical commercial that lied about McCain.
So I'd relax, just another election. If you don't like the commercials there is always the mute button. Besides, it will be over in a few weeks and we can put this behind us for at least 4 years.
Govt backing of stem cell research
I want stem cell research to go forward to help those with devastating illnesses. I do not want the embryos to be thrown away but rather put to good use. I really do not care what people with the opposite position say. This is my position and in my mind and heart and soul it is the right position. I care more for those who are already alive.
In a democracy, the majority rules and the majority of Americans want stem cell research to move forward with government backing. The debate, as far as I am concerned, is over. I am for it, others are not. Whether it is approved within the next two years or when finally a democratic president, who makes judgments and decisions fairly and based on what the people want and not what God has told him/her, it will be a reality within a few years.
