Sam does not have the intelligence or power to get under my "vulgar skin." The only people who are able to get under my skin are people for whom I have respect. Sam it nowhere near earning my respect. Her posts are ignorant and meaningless, and they certainly do not deserve my respect!

Totally agree about bin Laden - but Ayers doesn't need to be able to swat (sm)
a fly. All he needs to be able to do is dial a phone and call someone else to swat it for him. He has plenty of people supporting him. You can call him a washed up old hippie if you want. I know tons of washed up old hippies who did drugs, lived in vans and protested wars. However they never tried to KILL anyone. They never tried to violently overthrow the US government. They protested but they were peaceful. Ayers group was not a group of typical peace-seeking hippies. They were almost a Manson-like cult, only much better educated and calculated in their plans and attacks. We are not talking about Ayers swatting flies. We are talking about a long-term plan by an evil man with lots of high level friends and supporters. Yes bin Laden is terribly evil, much more so than Ayers. However, the person we are talking about has been actively involved in promoting Obama's political career and is STILL NOT SORRY why don't you understand that part? for what he did and feels they should have done more. And he said this right after our attack on 09/11 happened. Do you need it spelled out for you?
No, it is just annoying to me to come here
to come here to get different perspectives from other Democrats and have Conservatives constantly trying to force their views down my throat. I recognize you have a right to be here, but obviously neither one of us is ever going to agree 100% with the other, so I would rather get opinions primarily from other Democrats that I could actually learn from than someone that I just fundamentally disagree with on almost every political level.
I have friends that are Republicans, and some of them are great people, but I don't normally talk to them about politics because I don't want to offend them or get into a big fight, which is what it is every time. It's pretty much inevitable, and sometimes I would just like viewpoints from other liberals without having to defend every single view I have to someone who thinks my views are wrong in every way. Maybe I just shouldn't come to the board, but I do like to discuss politics and learn new things, so I will probably continue to come here.

Annoying phone call
You have no idea what is about to happen to this country if you do indeed vote for Hussane Obama. He is a socialist, and worse than that. Bottom line, truth of the matter is he wants to turn this country to socialism. You did not have to answer your phone. You chose to answer your phone. If you picked up the phone and realized what the add was you just hang up. How difficult is that? On the other hand, if Hussane Obama's group would have been on the other line, you would have fallen all over yourself. Come November remember this one thing if you do not remember anything else, you chose to vote for a "known terrorist." I do not know what news you are "listening too." I personally do NOT watch mainline TV -- esp not Communist network (CNN) as they are very slanted and do not deliver the true matters of things. Just remember you were warned, and if you vote a known terrorist backer then when this country becomes socialistic....you are the one who helped put him in there. YOu should be thankful for what you have already, and thankful for that phone call.

... is when someone comes out with an accusation (or a promise) and doesn't back it up with real information, facts, or plans.
