I did understand you were being facetious
I just thought I'd chime along. I did like a couple of your ideas though. Overall it made me smile.

Oh the Clinton years were horrible. We were taxed between 35-38% (and we had nothing) and even at that we always had to pay a few thousand at the end of the year. Living in SF bay area certainly was not cheap and even with no credit cards, and a dumpy one bedroom apartment and a used car we had nothing. Cost of living kept going up, but pay didn't (thank you Clinton and Clinton cronies). My family were losing their jobs, friends of my families lost jobs and homes. They couldn't afford to live anymore and costs just kept rising. Clinton 1993 tax plan was the highest in history. He taxed everything! Clinton raised taxes to 39.6%. At least under the Bush tax cuts the taxes went back down to 35%. When Clinton was in we couldn't afford vacations, a house (not even a modest 2 bedroom condo), we didn't have money to go out to eat or buy a lot of clothes for work or go to a movie. Once Bush got in our taxes went down and we were able to start living and feeling like real people again. Once Clinton was out of office our taxes went down. My family's freinds got jobs (which they had lost due to NAFTA under Clinton). Bush may have sucked real bad at being president (and I didn't like the guy at all) but at least we could afford jill.

So there's my dilemma. You have a guy who a lot of people liked, but he taxed the you know what out of us and most people lost their jobs, homes, and taxed on pretty much everything they looked at (surprised we weren't taxed to breath the air), or you have a guy who is so hated by most but he was able to lower taxes.

Now I just keep my fingers crossed.
FYI. Facetious is the word you're looking for.
