Wow, I am so impressed with your sanity and clarity.  Truly.  One of the biggest puzzles to me is how the folks in this country can be so at odds with one another, and perhaps so uneducated as to be able to conscientously pose the questions such as the "what values/liberals have?" poster did.  I guess I've decided that it's partly the lack of quality news available to the American public as well as the public's lack of interest in quality news.  This has led to ignorance and misunderstanding, probably nothing new. 

I do notice in reading posts on this board that there seem to be an overwhelming number of a erroneous assumptions about "liberals" or even anyone opposing the Iraqui war or Bush's policies.  We're kind of lumped together as immoral/unethical chai-tea-drinking nuts. 

If I had a small mind and only glanced at major news headlines in the last week I might actually believe that ALL right-wing Christians supported the Kansas church group that demonstrates at many military funerals (they are demonstrating because they believe the reason our troops are dying in Iraq is because America tolerates homosexuals).  By the way, the dead soldier's funerals they are disrupting are NOT homosexuals.  I might also believe that all right-wing Christians support the "Christian" pastor who master-minded the slayings of the Mississippi civil rights workers in the 1960s.  But I know better than this. 

One of the most revealing anecdotes on Bush's character is him being caught on videotape during an interview laughing and mimicking the fear of a Texas woman on death row right before she was excecuted.  I also do not assume all right-wing Christians are this cruel and shallow.  At least I hope they aren't.
