The problem here, sam is s/m

No, I don't know enough about Obama.  All I can base my opinion of him on is his church affilitation. That is BAD news for me as I don't hold with that church's teaching.  Surely there is more to him, be it good or bad, than just his church affilitation or what the media feeds us or the McCain campaign ads..  I personally find no problem with his proposals other than the fact that he supports "comprehensive immigration reform" and not the way I think it should be done.  I certainly agree that loopholes need to be closed and the wealthy need to pay a proportionate share of their income taxes.  I personally would support a 10% across the board tax.  In other words, if you earn a dollar, you owe a dime, no matter who you are or how much, or little, you earn.  I also hold against him that he voted for the big bail-out.

If putting more money in the hands of the wealthy makes the economy boom, then why is it not booming now when the wealthy are wealthier than ever?.  Yet the economy is booming.........in China and other foreign countries, as both parties ship our jobs out of the country and support importing more foreign labor to depress the wages of jobs  that have remained in this country.

What criteria do you subscribe to that makes you think McCain is the one we need in office?

So..........it is with extreme reluctance that I'll vote for Obama, the unknown versus the KNOWN.  Now, your turn, let's hear some facts about Sen. Perfect McCain and Gov. Airhead Palin, his running mate.  And don't tell me that, "well, he was a prisoner in Viet Nam," and don't tell me about her "experience."

I don't personally see  how things can possibly get much worse than they have been under the Bush administration but I am sure I'm wrong, it can and will get worse..........until the AMERICAN people take back control of the government.
