Since I make somewhere around $60,000 a year, and after the bare necessities, mortgage, insurance, monthly bills, food....even I don't have enough money for extras to pay for cash.

How is the little guy, who makes less than me going to trickle it up with cash, when I can't?

I have friends and relatives who probably make less than $20,000....I'm sure they aren't paying cash for any extras...that stimulus check is gone on the essentials, real quick. They aren't on welfare yet...although I think one may be, not sure, he's pretty silent about that stuff....but he sure isn't about to help the trickle up effect.

Do you pay for a new car, computer, TV, all sorts of things...with CASH, and not a credit card?

I don't see how your point is valid and will work in today's economy. Things aren't the same as when my parents were young, and only my dad worked and mom was able to stay home. Sure, he was able to support the whole family of six, and we were considered middle class, not rich by any means, but he paid cash for almost everything.

Can't be done today. There isn't any, and I doubt that Obama's trickle up is going to put any extra money in anyone's pocket to help stimulate the economy the way permanent tax cuts for everyone would.

Doesn't seem to be working well for
