Well what do you THINK happens in a war?

It's a war. People die. That doesn't mean we all curl up in a ball and give up.

Ever hear of the American Revolution?

Or the Civil War?

Or World War I or II or .....

Unfortunately, civilians sometimes are killed. Especially in a guerilla-based war, which is what Iraq is running.

Do you care at all about the 2,740 American CIVILIANS killed on 9/11? Or just the ones you get to see first-hand on your TV?

Perhaps if CNN or MSNBC or whatever slanted news source you use had been able to take pictures of the men, women, children, and infants the Arab hijackers slammed into the twin towers, you'd be better able to appreciate why we're at war. And during a war, people die.

So what do you propose? We all just forgive and forget? How long do you think we'd be safe in America if that's how we treated terrorists?
