Bad news for the Christian haters....

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,420001,00.html

Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are both Catholics.  Although Joe Biden dances around the choice issue, he does say he follows the teachings of his church and believes that life begins at conception.

Good for you, Joe.

You still are not making sense
I read all of the posts from the beginning. The Franklin Mint makes all these presidential coins. Yes I know it's not Obama's fault they colored his picutre in. Like another poster said (that is Franklin Mint's fault) They didn't with the other presidents but they did with Obama and it looks Tachy and cheap! They should have left his face in gold.

I know exactly why you said what you did. You are trying to turn what someone wrote about the colored coins into a racial thing and its not. If I was you I would drop the subject entirely. She was talking about the colored coins the Franklin Mint put out. Washington and the other presidents faces are not colored in on the coins.
You're not making much sense.

You don't seem to realize there's a written record of all your posts for folks to review.  Many of your posts with other folks are quite strange and don't seem to make much sense.

Well, at least you're having a big laugh.

Oh, Sam, quit making so much sense.
nm
You making absolutely no sense!
Are you saying that Obama is an elitist because he referred to people in a small town in Pennsylvania as small-town folk? What the heck was he supposed to call them big-city, movers and shakers?

Have you completely lost your mind!
Should be - You are making absolutely no sense!
Oops
Try making some sense. What is your point? nm

What does Christian in the true sense of the
xx
Ron Gettelfinger is making perfect sense
on this in his new conference as we speak.
Just participating in a Christian church does not make you a Christian (sm)
Everyone who goes to a Christian church is not automatically a Christian. Only God knows if you truly are or not. He could easily still have Muslim values and attend a Christian church. Does he? I have NO IDEA. I really don't know. What I DO KNOW is that the Christian church he attended did not teach what God wants to be taught. I know that from the Bible because we are not supposed to preach hate or damnation, yet that is what his minister preached, LOUDLY.
The HATERS as you put it seem to be you
believe what you believe must be horrible people and then you start the name calling. Need to point that little finger at yourself.
So sad to see all the haters on this board!
I wonder if anyone would come on here and apologize if Obama actually does an awesome job?! Probably not, they are all about the negativity and the hating! I am VERY happy though! Good for everyone!
Haters? I am independent, but have seen
nm
You stirred the Bush haters.....
and I do mean Bush haters. I have never seen so many people focused on hating one person. It is pretty darn scary. I am not a Democrat, but I do not agree with everything Bush has done by a long shot. I vote for the man (or woman) who most closely follows my values and I feel would be best for the country as a whole. So far there are no Democrats I could vote for in good conscience..too many fundamental differences. I could have voted for Zell Miller and would have if I lived in his state. I am looking for something different, not something falling on rote party lines. Think I found that in Fred Thompson. He says some very important things, one being unity...if this country cannot unite again, we will not stand strong. No other candidate is talking about unity. He is talking about federalism...putting more power back in the states where it belongs constitutionally and in every other way. That is the best way to really know "the will of the people," as the important law changes at the state level are put to an actual vote of the people. What a concept. He also says that 5 or 6 judges should not legislate from the bench and shove laws down the throats of the entire country, which is as UNconstitutional as it can be. He also believes in true religious freedom (which means not painting a target on Christians and everything Christian as the ACLU is so fond of doing). We have gone from freedom OF religion to freedom FROM religion, and that, my friend, is at the core of the problems this country faces today. Okay, off my soapbox. :-)
Nothing's good enough for Palin haters...nm
.
The HATERS use their religion as an excuse,
.
I reckon if you took the IQ of all you haters on this forum,
and added them all together, you wouldn't even get to 20!!  Very amusing . . . . . .

I'd like to see some of the bleeding heart Bush haters sm
stick flowers in the Islamic terrorist's guns.  They would certainly get a chance.  They will kill them first.
Might as well not waste time talking to the haters.
nm
Obama Haters will hate this post.
Remember Rush I-hope-he-fails Limbaugh?

All they want is fodder to support their ridiculous claims. They don't want to hear that he is actually succeeding better than expected.
Waste 101- Hannity haters, do not read

Although I'm not a big fan of Hannity, he had a countdown last night. I'd like to know how does landscaping certain hotels, buildings, etc. contribute to jobs? What happened to the infrastructure spending for roads and bridges that was to create jobs...even though those jobs would be temporary, some projects would have given a year or two of work. It still seems like these jobs are "once and done" jobs.

Even Microsoft gets a bridge across a highway so the workers have easier access to their other building across the highway. Why, since he's #2(?) in Forbes, couldn't he pay for it himself?

Hopefully, this list will be on line soon. It's not there yet.

The total for the 101 stimulus spending was $1,234,631,672. The good news is at least we know where some of the stimulus/omnibus money is going.

Sadly, the haters started to hate him way before he even took office....sm
I have mixed views here, but I found it amazing, as I read this board around election time, and then shortly thereafter, that all the Bushwackers and Right Wingers were already condemning and DOOMING the Obama administration....way before the man even took the oath of office! Now George had 8+ years to do good for this country, to help the economy, the reach out to the poor, to upgrade the educational system, and what did his administration do? Let's see, instead of getting Bin Ladin, we spend billions and billions, and thousands of precious lives, on a war with Iraq for those infamous invisible WMDs which no one could find, and which was reported to the President ahead of time. We have made most of the world hate us for our arrogance and stupidity. He let Wall Street run amok and watched the country go down in ashes....stop bashing Obama, no he is not God, he is not perfect, he has faults, he will make mistakes inevitably (and I am not fond of several things in the stimulus bill), but by God give him a chance, he has barely been in office a MONTH versus 8 excruciating, embarrassing years with the Bush gang, support him as our American President, and stop DOOMING his administration before he even gets a chance. Sorry, off my worn-out soap box now!
.Sure, O is Christian. His mother was Christian
his father Muslim. In Indonesia, where O spent 4 years, age 7 to 11, he attended a catholic school and received outside the school Islamic teachings.

When he was 12 his mother took him back to the US into the care of her mother and the rest is history......
Just making sure
because many of those on the side of "we're sending kids to war" are the exact same people that think 13-year-olds should be able to have abortions without their parents knowledge or consent...glad that's not you.
Boy, you just keep MAKING our
don't you? Because the middle east has been unstable was only 1 of many reasons not to start a war there.
they are making all the $$$ they can because they know
fossil fuels will be exausted in about 10 years. For the record it doesn't matter if the average joe stops buying gas, truckers and airlines will still need fuel. it's quite ignorant of someone to assume they can really affect big oil buy not buying gas for one day. They know you will just buy it later; they are like a drug dealer and you need your fix---you will eventually come back.
since you are obviously making

over $250,000 a year if your taxes are being raised, can't feel too sorry for you.

It's you or them and when making

the split decision to save your life, I am sure you would choose LIFE.  That's where a gun would come in real handy.  I don't think our founding fathers needed counseling, do you?

I don't know? Just making a

suggestion?  Don't get your ruffles in a twist?

Are you making this up?
It sounds you are making it up. If not point me in the right direction. I'm on his website searching everywhere and I am not finding these 3 type of revolutions you are claiming are on his site.

What I am reading is that he has been hearing that a lot of people want one, not that he's inciting them. But he is trying to get to the bottom of what it would mean and what it would be like.

Besides, what do you think a revolution is all about? A revolution is standing up to a govt of Tyranny. It is up to them (govt) whether they make it violent or not. The people need to hold them accountable for what they are doing.

I like the flag that Texas has

http://galleryoftherepublic.com/txflags/goliad.htm

Someone stated it means "I would rather cut off my right arm than serve under Tyranny".
I don't see anything Christian in it, either.

It looks like America is becoming a theocracy.  I always thought that freedom of religion was one of the greatest things about America.  I'm worried it isn't going to exist in a very short time.

The letter you posted is great!  Thanks.

49 out of 55 were CHRISTIAN

From WikiPedia:

Lambert (2003) has examined the religious affiliations and beliefs of the Founders. Some of the 1787 delegates had no affiliation. The others were Protestants except for three Roman Catholics: C. Carroll, D. Carroll, and Fitzsimons. Among the Protestant delegates to the Constitutional Convention, 28 were Episcopalian, eight were Presbyterians, seven were Congregationalists, two were Lutherans, two were Dutch Reformed, and two were Methodists, the total number being 49. Some of the more prominent Founding Fathers were anti-clerical or vocal about their opposition to organized religion, such as Jefferson. Some of them often related their anti-organized church leanings in their speeches and correspondence, including George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson (who created the "Jefferson Bible"), and Benjamin Franklin. However, notable founders, such as Patrick Henry, were strong proponents of traditional religion. Several of the Founding Fathers considered themselves to be deists or held beliefs very similar to that of deists, including Franklin, Jefferson, and Ethan Allen.[11]

Although not a religion, Freemasonry was represented in John Blair, Benjamin Franklin, James Mchenry, George Washington, Abraham Baldwin, Gunning Bedford, William Blount, David Brearly, Daniel Carroll, Jonathan Dayton, Rufus King, John Langdon, George Read, Roger Sherman, James Madison, Robert Morris, William Paterson, and Charles Pinckney.

Well I am a Christian
and I don't want the lack of morals and judgments in this country forced on me but they are everyday. I can't turn on the t.v., open a magazine, or walk into the mall without seeing sex, violence, drugs, etc.

Even if you don't believe in the Bible or Christ, you cannot argue that this country wouldn't be a better place if people followed the rules and laws that are laid out by Jesus in the new testament.

Christians have been passive far to long in this country. We've sat back while God was pushed out of everything. Well it's high time we stood up and pushed back. Don't tell me the fact that this country has gotten so liberal minded and anti-God and the fact that murders, school shootings, robberies, unwanted pregnancies, drugs, etc have skyrocketed isn't a coincidence.

To christian enough

christian enough for what?  You said in one of your posts below that, "I find it especially interesting that black churches cannot be "angry" but white churches are free to do a shout out of the next anti-christ?

Hello?  If a black church is preaching hate towards white people, I would call that "angry."  If a white church is preaching about the coming of the anti-christ, how is that "angry?"  Please tell me.  One church is teaching racial hate, the other teaching Bible prophecy.  Please tell me what you mean?

I dont know what kind of church you have been to, but it must not have been a good experience.  God talks about the need for church in the Bible.  We are supposed to worship him, keep the sabbath holy and all of that.  You seem very sarcastic when you speak of Christianity.  I hope that your sister is praying for you.

You are a Christian?
Judy, I am not being ugly here, but reading this post it sounds like you claim to be a Christian and then I read the ugly statements you posted yesterday and it just floors me.

How can someone who says they vote based on the Bible talk and act that way. That brings shame on the church and its members, which I was taught in my Bible is wrong.

A Christian is supposed to be tolerant of others and not judgmental of others.
As a Christian, it is a lot to me actually...nm
s
How very Christian of you!
Is that what they teach you in Sunday school?
He's just as much a Christian
as Jeremiah Wright is!
A Christian according to you
is 'mentally disturbed', but a gay living a deviant lifestyle is perfectly normal and in the right?! Being gay is a mental disorder in itself. I think you know where you can put your stick, although you'd probably like that.
What lie? He said he's Christian.

him being Muslim, convince yourselves and those voices in your head that he is Muslim and then say he's lying about being Christian.

America is supposed to have freedom of religion.  I don't care what his faith is.  He's not my pastor.  He's my president.

As a Christian..
I don't even like to use the terms homosexual, heterosexual, gay, straight or any other such term to describe a sexual behavior which is what all these are. I'm female myself and my sexual behavior is my business. People would assume that because I'm with a man that I'm "heteroseuxal" and they would be correct. However, I do not describe myself as heterosexual. As a Christian, I believe that's a behavior and not a lifestyle. sex is a behavior, regardless of whether your male, female, or animal. Not all forms of sexual behavior are acceptable. But it is quicker to type out "homosexual" than it is to type out "people who engage in sinful, dysfunctional, disgusting behavior." But I actually choose to not even acknowledge the terms homosexual, heterosexual, gay, straight, etc. as these are simply behaviors, just as you label someone who steals as a thief, someone who sells their body for sex as a prostitute and so on. That is why homosexuals demand "tolerance" but, since the country already tolerates these people, what they really want is "acceptance" and since I can't accept homosexuality as wonderful and good, I in turn cannot accept homosexuals as wonderful and good. Homosexual/homosexuality. They go hand in hand.
As the Christian you say you are...
didn't you ever learn not to judge your fellow man? It is not very Christian to be calling someone "dysfunctional and disgusting." I do believe He taught us to love our fellow man, and I don't think he specifically limited that to the ones we agree with.
As a Christian myself
I don't condone that lifestyle and I'm against same sex marriage.  However, I do not see where ones listening to the music of a gay man is showing acceptance of that lifestyle.
the reason they are making
the reason they are making a big deal about the drilling about to happen in alaska is because tyhey think that it is going to interuppt the migration of one of the biggest elk herds in all of alaska, and because if it did, that would not only kill the animals, but a local tribe depends on that herd for food........lol.another contradiction in their thinking.

i personalluy believe that the drilling there is going to be a huge step towards our energy independence.because it will provide over 3 million barrels of oil for over thirty years.wich is ten percent of what we would have used...............
AR making a habit of that, LOL
Just can't seem to help him/herself!
This is a kid you're making fun of
Why does this upset you so? If a student had taped a pro-Bush student would you be making fun of him? I highly doubt it. This kid was concerned that he was being continually being taught a particular political viewpoint in geography class. It happened more than once. I think the kid showed a lot of courage--it wouldn't have mattered to me what his political persuasion was. He should been learning geography and not subjected to political rants on either side.
and you keep making mine

So if something is amiss in the word you don't try to fix it at all you just hope that it goes away?

Would you rather deal with Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas before they get nukes or after?  Should we have let Saddam get nukes too?

This whole *Bush was too preoccupied with Iraq to deal with this situation* the Dems are crying is bull. Just like everything else they say in fact.  This situation has been ongoing for years.  The cease fires so touted by Madeline Albright and Clinton have never been true cease fires.  This is a conflict that has been going on ever since there were Jews and Arabs.  This is one situation you cannot historically place the blame on Bush.  Doesn't hold water.  So, if you are so concerned about our President supposedly not knowing history or geographics then I suggest you do some studying of your own, because your history and your perception of it is a little skewed itself.

You are making it an issue
You are trying to defend Merv Griffin when no one said anything bad about him or that he was not a conservative.  All that was stated was what he commented about the vote, nothing more or less.  You are reading much more into it than I ever intended.  Dont waste your time looking up more information about Merv, who cares?  His comment is what his comment was.  Goodness, LOL.  Dustin Hoffman also made a comment on Letterman that the democrats taking over the House and Senate was a historic day.  It was a comment nothing more.  I must state, though, that the audience also clapped, whistled, cheered when Dustin said that.
Thank you for making my point...
"their crimes, if brought to light and hopefully proven, will be far worse than Clinton ever did." Sigh. They are guilty in your mind as I knew you thought (was in the windy post you did not read). Which makes your comment about innocent until proven guilt worthless and the "wind" you refer to. It only applies to those you want it to apply to. Yes, that IS hypocrisy.

Worse than Clinton did? In a FAIR world, perjury is perjury and is a crime. No matter what they were lying about. Obstruction of justice is obstruction of justice. Which is what they are talking about impeaching Cheney with. The judiciary committee is talking about the Plame case, nothing else. That is what is on the table. Obstruction of justice and perjury. Same thing we already know Clinton is guilty of, because we saw him do it.
And yet you make excuses, as I knew you would. Sigh. You are nothing if not predictable.

Again...I wish the WOULD investigate. I wish they WOULD impeach if they think they have the goods. And if he is proven guilty of perjury and obstruction, then I hope he is removed from office. You CANNOT, and WILL NOT, EVER say that about Clinton (oh because he only lied about sex), and that is a BIG difference between you and me. Maybe I was wrong about your morality. Maybe I gave you too much credit.
You are the one making an issue (sm)

out of his middle name.  So what if someone posts his middle name?  What do YOU have to be worried about?  It appears that she cut and pasted an article written by someone else.  Had you not written a huge post about the name *Hussein,* many would not have even given it a second thought.
