What it REALLY was, was AMAZEMENT that

such a stupid statement.

But it doesn't really matter what I say in my defense because YOU know my motives and how I feel about the issue, regardless of my truthful explanations to the contrary.  I've already posted my views on what happens to children in this country.  You can either believe them or not.  I know what I meant and how I felt, and I was amazed and ANGRY that an issue this serious could be explained by a political leader by blaming it on Liberals.

So please, by all means, twist my motives into something that works for you and punish the messenger instead of the actual people involved in all this.
