Who said anything about contraband?

This has nothing to do with contraband.  It has to do with the government opening and reading the mail (a personal LETTER) of an 81-YEAROLD AMERICAN CITIZEN (who has been corresponding with the same person for 50 YEARS).  I liked things better in the old days when the privacy of citizens was honored and opening someone else's mail was considered a federal offense.

Of course I have nothing to hide.  That doesn't mean my life should be an open book for Bush to target and for what reason?  Maybe because I believe in a different religion or am not a registered republican?

I'd rather have a President who respects the Constitution and not one who feels it's only a piece of paper, as Bush has said.

I'd rather live in a republic (like the United States used to be before Bush) than in a theological dictatorship run by a dishonest, unethical, arrogant, egotistical rich boy who couldn't care less about the record deficit he has created because he's so accustomed to Daddy paying his bills.

Now, please show some respect for the monitor and slink on back to the Con board.  All you're really showing is that you have as much respect for the monitor's repeated requests as Bush has for the Constitution, which is ZERO.
