Yeah, I know...if McCain doesn't win the election, he'll probably steal it

The theory behind democracy and two parties is after two terms of one party, the other party comes into office for no more than two terms. It is so the two parties meet in the moderate middle and no extremes of either are reached. Far right and far left wingnuts take the country to such extremes, it destabilizes the masses and civil disorder will erupt due to the stark contrast between the two parties extreme beliefs. Well, I think that as I have viewed all the posts, there is reason to be concerned about the educational system in this country and what people rely on, progress or tradition.

But, bottom line is the country is in a state of turmoil like never seen since 1929 and for that very reason, everyone should want to vote for the other party unless they are wealthy and want tax breaks. Which is always the case.

Home schooling by mothers who aren't able to educate and lackluster teachers have added to this country of people who are so devisive, they appear to hate each other. They say a common enemy brings people together, but even with the corruption before us, lies and deceit by the GOP, costing us all so much for years to come, hasn't done the job. It is pretty hopeless.

If anyone is trying to steal this election, it's O's
nm
Isn't it wonderful to have a pres WHO DIDN'T STEAL THE ELECTION? AND WHO sm
won by such a large margin???? Poor Gore had to sit through Bush's inauguration knowing he had 500,000 more votes. This is WONDERFUL!

That was just ignorant. Bush did steal the election but THIS TIME WE WON HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NM
NM
Yes, Obama won the election. That doesn't mean he's the best man

for the job.  It just means he's good with deception.  Talk about smoke and mirrors!

I don't know who or what Obama is and I don't know what role he will play in the years to come.  What I do know is our days are number and he will set the stage for certain prophesy to be fulfilled.  Watch and see.

Is Obama The Antichrist?  I don't know.  But the spirit of the antichrist is already in this world.

Doesn't matter...the facts were there before the election

dem stacked polls mean nothing...wait till the election and we'll see....nm

If McCain/Palin win this election,

another catastrophic attack on US citizens happening not soon after.  The rest of the world won't take another GOP leader in the White House lightly, especially our enemies.  Hopes for a more peaceful world will be dashed, and you just KNOW that certain parts of the country are going to have what they consider a perfect excuse for another WTC-like attack.

Ladies, this election is far too important to the US and the rest of the world to be voting GENDER.  As much as I would love to see a woman in the White House, this is the WRONG WOMAN, and most definitely the WRONG MAN.

We have already begun a downward slide in wealth, power & credibility, and other, much larger nations are on their way up.  The warmonger currently in the White House, and those who aspire to follow, should realize that it's no longer so inconceivable that the next major war could end up being fought on OUR soil.

Yeah, I remember the "Catholics for Bush" signs during the 2004 election
so much for churches staying out of govt
Yeah and they'll
be just the ones to bring meaningful change to this great country...either way...Democrat or Republican.
Yeah. It's the same one. Next week she'll

yeah we'll leave you to your
leave you to your bong and love beads. You all talk a big game but your brain cells are too fried to actually do anything for this country
Yeah, they'll only count the ones for O
plus a couple for McCain to appear as though they are fair.

Another reason that IF O wins it will be a stolen election.
yeah, okay, I'll take your word for it
x
Yeah, I'll BET you "work with" them. You offer
away from any others that might be out there. I've seen your kind practicing what amounts to terrorism in front of our local Planned Parenthood clinic.

Based on all the propaganda you've been spewing the last week or so, I don't believe one word of what you just wrote about 'helping' women.

You so-called 'pro-life' enthusiasts are just a buncha self-righteous, old-world, Bible-belt hags, nothing more.

Yeah, I'll talk about unions s/m

Two husbands who were union workers.  One IBEW, one Teamster.  BOTH said there were workers who didn't carry their share of the work load...not much different than MTs who cherry pick for instance.

#1 IBEW husband said at the time or Reganomics, when Ronald Reagan, himself a card-carrying member of the actor's union, said he would break the unions, it would be the downfall of the American workers.. Regan succeeded in breaking the backs of the unions.   When union workers lost the ability to bargain, they had to start taking wage concessions......and guess what?  Union wages went down, so did non-union wages follow suit.  When union workers got better working conditions, better wages and better benefits, so did non-union workers.

#2 Teamster husband is a radical retired Teamster.  While he also complained that there were lazy workers who rode on the backs of the hard-workers, he also said that the union does not support such and more times than not the union would uphold the firing of such a person.  He has a Teamster retirement that is the envy of most people and he has retiree health care benefits even though we pay about $700 a month for that.  While he was working, his union dues were around $35 a month and that covered our insurance.   Teamster retirees today will not enjoy those benefits.

Do some research on the history of unions.  Might not hurt to watch the movie Norma Rae as well.

Yeah but, what about the comedy we'll miss!! LOL. nm

Yeah, you're right; I'll try to ignore them in the future.

Yeah. We'll be falling right into the leadership shortly

McCain doesn't need help looking bad.
nm
Yeah....this show dates us, doesn't it...sm
I was a junior in high school when it came out, and thought it was a riot. I don't watch at all either, though, stopped sometime early ྌs.

How time flies, doesn't it. I know I don't feel old, so why do the years reflect it?

Yeah, cause the Christian bible doesn't have any of that
Except for where it does:

Luke:19:27

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Yeah, and guess who he'll blame the whole four years....yep...bush...nm

Why doesn't McCain campaign let
her talk to the media!?  Apparently they are afraid of her.
Now why doesn't McCain take that approach?

I've been leaning in favor of Obama these last few weeks and I have to say it's because McCain isn't offering me up any reasons to choose him.  Why isn't he attacking Obama's "socialist" viewpoint instead of just trash-talking.  I don't want to live in a socialist country, but I also have had enough of the Bush years.  Why isn't McCain taking a stronger stance than what he has been.

While I don't want Obama overseeing our healthcare, I also don't want to pay McCain's taxes on it.  We're already going to see a hike in our taxes from this bailout, which I think both candidates unwisely supported.  Furthermore, I think we need to bring some of our troops back home, unless the Iraqi govt wants to start paying us for having them there.  That war alone is costing us millions.  On the other hand, I don't want Iran to have nuclear weapons.  And don't even get me started on Roe versus Wade.  I'm pro-choice, but I'm not pro-mutilating babies that survived abortion.  I believe abortion is a decision that needs to be made before 12 weeks' gestation.  That's just my feeling and I know many will disagree.

And let's not kid each other about Palin.  I personally don't care to be spoken to like I'm a redneck.  It's very patronizing and I don't appreciate it.  When it was first announced that she was the VP pick, I was very interested in learning more about her and also kind of psyched to get a woman in the White House.  But after listening to her address the country, I felt like a kindergartener.  She should find a better way to speak to us as American citizens, not rednecks from the backwoods.

yeah, but could care less really doesn't make sense if you think about it -nm

I'll take McCain's beef over Obama's baloney any day.
nm
McCain doesn't talk bad about democrats
because he gets his surrogates to do that, don't be so naive.  He's another Bush and his ilk, he's just not as dumb, which is even scarier.
If McCain wins, I'll be moving to Canada...Montreal

I'll give you one good reason to vote for McCain.

Barrack Hussein Obama.....nuff said.

Voting for McCain doesn't make you a republican

One of the things I disagree with McCain...he doesn't know a socialist...sm

Ayers doesn't regret the bombings, doesn't feel like they did enough sm

In a story that appeared in the Times on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Ayers told a reporter while promoting his memoir "Fugitive Days": "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough."

Mr. Ayers, now a professor of education in Chicago, was a founder of the Weather Underground, which bombed government buildings in the early 1970s. He was indicted on conspiracy charges that were thrown out for prosecutorial misconduct.

He served with Mr. Obama on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago, a charitable organization, and, along with his wife, the former Weather Underground member Bernardine Dohrn, hosted Mr. Obama at his home in 1995 when he was running for state office.

Mr. Obama has called Mr. Ayers "somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old."...so because it was 40 years ago, and Ayers is still proud of what he did, how is it justifiable for a US presidential candidate to now be friends with this man?  Unless he has the same view of America.

Let me rephrase that. It doesn't *seem like* my vote doesn't count...sm
It does not count because its in the bag that our 3 electoral votes will go to the republican party.
Oh. Well, they'll have to kill me before they'll censor

We'll see who'll be laughing tomorrow.
Bet it's me!
yeah, yeah, yeah.....what he failed to mention...
is that the Dems are responsible for the mortgage meltdown which is responsible for the wall street meltdown. Chris Dodd, Barney Frank...totally to blame. Blocked every attemmpt by Bush Admin and yes, McCain, to regulate fannie/freddie. Dems certainly have selective memories...convenient bouts of amnesia. lol.
If O "fails", then you'll probably like him more cuz he'll

Why are you McCain people so desperate? You are just like McCain. No plan. Just criticism of the
other candidate.  I guess you want the same old thing we have had for the past 8 years.  God forbid McCain win with that wild woman, Palin.
Not about the election.
As I have stated before, I am pro-life, but am just appalled at the things that extremists do--on both sides of this issue.  I went to my OB/GYN the other day for a prenatal exam and my 2-year-old son found a business card with pictures of bloody pieces of fetuses on it that said that anyone who has an abortion will go to...well, you get the picture.  While I am not entirely sure that this is not true, I am disgusted that someone would leave such a thing lying around where small children can find it.  Luckily, my son just turned two and really did not realize what it was he was seeing, but just think if an older child had found such a thing.  Sometimes I think that people get in their own ways when trying to make their points.  I am sure that I am guilty of this, as are many others on this board.  I actually just wanted to vent a little.  Hope everyone is having a good afternoon!
No way did JFK's dad buy the election
I live in the same town as the Kennedys and they are notorious for not paying for things.
Election Day
A large group of my neighbors will be walking down the street together at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning to cast our votes for Barack Obama. It will probably end up being like a little block party in celebration of Obama.

No matter who wins this election, it will be a thrilling race and a shocking result!
