Here's a fun tidbit...(sm)

Pubs are now threatening the 3 pubs who actually voted for the stimulus package with not supporting them for re-election.  So basically, they don't want these 3 senators to actually represent the wishes of the people in their states, they just want them to be obstructionists.  It should be quite obvious to everyone at this point that the pub party is only out for itself, and does not give a rats butt about what happens to the economy or the people of this country.  In fact if pub citizens were to actually get their heads out of their butts and look at the big picture for a change they would see that the only thing the pub party is trying to do is ensure that the democratic party fails (at any cost) so they can be in power again.

I just want all you pubs out there to remember this so that when we are in a full blown recession and you start yelling that it's Obama's fault because he didn't do anything, you can look back and see exactly who is stopping progress in this country and have ruined your lives and the lives of your children ---- with your support.

Interesting tidbit...(sm)
Note that Gov Jindal from Louisiana and the gov from Mississippi are the main ones saying they won't accept the money.  Those two also just happen to be thinking about running in 2012.  In other words, they would prefer for someone to "make" them take the money so they can boast about not taking it when 2012 rolls around.
No different than any other time. She posted a tidbit
You know...the one you can choose to read or not to read. So what's "dishonest" about that?

Another interesting tidbit from this election...California...
voted to ban gay marriage.  California!  Well, bet that was a bit of a shock to most folks out there.  What happens now to all those gays Gavin Newsom married?  Wonder if this one will make its way to the Supreme Court so another vote of the people will be overridden by a legislating from the bench group?  I know one thing...they won't be sending it to THIS court.  They will wait for the one Obama hopes to put in.  How very interesting in California...in with Obama, out with gay marriage.  Hmmm.
Must have skipped over all the sam control,

Obviously you skipped over half my post
I don't choose what a woman does with her body. But I know what MY God says about it and it is wrong, plain and simple. Therefore I am against it being passed. I'm sorry if that offends you.

Only about 1% of abortions are performed due to rape. 1%. And there is proven psychological evidence that most women who keep the baby have been successfully treated and are able to see the baby for what he or she is: an innocent victim. You cannot blame the child for an act that someone else has committed, and you can't approve homicide of an unborn child to make sure another human's mental health is okay.

Outside of rape and incest, abortion is just an easy answer to an inconvenient accident. Just like everything else in this nation. Let's find the easy answer. No one wants to take responsibility anymore.

Pretty soon we'll be "aborting" the elderly because they aren't worth caring for anymore and are "inconvenient". What a sad world we live in nowadays.

It's not like he skipped a security briefing!
There was nothing in Bush's self-serving farewell speech that would be of any importance to Barack Obama. Obama has much more important things to concentrate on these days. Personally, I would rather have Obama concentrate on issues that will be affecting the future of our country than waste his time listening to a lame duck pat himself on the back!

As far as being disrespectful...respect is something that is earned, and George Bush has done nothing to earn respect from anyone.

Four days and counting till the lame duck gets shipped back to his murky Texas pond...and not one minute too soon, if you ask me!
Skipped over the part about diplomacy, alliance, etc.

Skipped the speech? Turns out O took Michelle out
How much hot water would your husband be in if he tried to pass off attending W's farewell drivel as a birthday celebration? My question is aren't these folks entitled to have a private moment once in a while WITHOUT having their feet held to the fire?
Humor, in this case, seems to have skipped an entire political party.
