By your logic, Palestinians are in charge (yeah, right). That's the only way they could possibly be occupiers. When was the last time they blockaded Israel's food, medicine, fuel and money? Point to the place on the map where they have "expanded" their settlements, especially in light of the fact that the majority of them live in refugee camps. Israelis have not right to return? Return from which diaspora? They are there, or not, by choice, not by force. There is a difference. Palestinians try to tear down the wall, not construct it.
Since when do they have the power to imposed ANYTHING on the Israelis, let alone a police state. This current so-called retaliation is in response to the expiration of a cease fire, not renewed by Hamas because Israel did not live up to its own bargain and refused to lift the blockade. Palestinians invaded what part of Israel? When? Remember, they are the ones living on the ever-shrinking, splintering geography. Israelis think nothing of plundering even the most basic of resources, and scarce at that....water. Just another routine starvation tactic as they swim in their pools. Again, consult the disproportionate fatality statistics on fatalities and injuries. No matter how hard you protest, you cannot turn your lies into truth.

A couple weeks back there was a discussion about abortion. I am athiest and wanted to give a different point of view. For the benefit of showing diversity I chose the name *the big bad athiest.* Of course, that turned into a back and forth about religion. In the meantime another poster said (not quoting, just trying to get the point across) that I was trying to spread my lack of religion (I think was the point) by posting my name as *the big bad athiest,* so I changed it to *Just the Big Bad.* I thought it was funny, especially as there is now a poster who goes by the name *christian,* who has not to my knowledge, by the way, been accused of spreading christianity.

I didn't ask for pity...I asked for hospitals that paid their bills on time, which they didn't and maybe you should reread my posting, I don't have a $300,000 house. My house is nowhere near that amount of money. I said the woman I worked for after my surgery who did not pay any of her subs was building a $300,000 house while not paying HER subs. And you cannot foresee everything that will happen to you in your future...4 layoffs in 15 years, people who don't pay you, emergency surgery because you were working so hard to get the hospital's work done that didn't pay that you didn't notice symptoms until it was too late, work that dries up, lost accounts. For 25 years I never missed a mortgage payment or a bill payment. I am not a deadbeat. If I had never gotten into this profession I'm sure my life would not have ended up like this. Before you judge other people make sure you read correctly what they post.

Most likely, as McCain said about Obama, he is a "good man, a family man." I think he has run a campaign that could be described as win at any cost, no matter what lie or deceit has to be used. The black fellow who stood up and said, "please sir, I'm begging you" right before the little old lady, is anyone so dumb that they didn't recognize that man was planted? Many, many people can't see past the end of their nose.

and I enjoy the politics of it all, but I am truly very concerned what is going on. How in the world can a man who says he puts "Country First" in such peril? It might be funny if it wasn't so deadly serious. Name one person who has been killed because of Beck. Just did a search, haven't found one. Sure he may be a bit "animated" - the gas can incident was a good example to show people what is happening. If it wasn't for Beck I wouldn't have known about this administration cutting back the death benefits for the families of slain police officers in the line of duty, yet at the same time this administration is spending over $300K to research gay bars in Argentina to find out why gays get drunk and participate in that behavior. You don't want workplace protection for America's workers, or a living wage, or standards of ethics for corporations as well as the people they hire. You like seeing America's wealth funneled to a few happy guys at the top while 90% of those who actually work to produce goods and services get the crumbs.
There are equitable ways to structure law and government and business that both encourage free market enterprise and keep acceptable standards of income and benefits for the average American. However, you're so busy rah-rahing a system that history tells us leads nowhere except total annihilation and collapse that you don't seem to be aware of history at all. Where do you think you're going to be when it caves? - that's what happens to capitalism when you remove all obligation and restriction - and taxes - from that top 1%.
And just to show you how utterly and ridiculously misguided your loyalities are, take note of the fact that YOU apparently have swallowed hook, line and sinker the notion that it's preferable to tax hell out of wages and leave the capital profits of the rich alone, rather than have NO taxes on earned wages, and tax hell out of superfluous capital gains as it should be, and is, in every better society on earth. You're hooked totally against your better interests and the better interests 99% of American citizens in fact. Socialist societies have never prospered. Never. Socialism remains a failed experiment. Capitalism was implemented in West Germany and West Berlin following World War II. West Germany and West Berlin prospered and living standards became much better. Socialism was implemented in East Germany and East Berlin following World War II. East Germany and East Berlin stagnated and living standards deteriorated. The split turned German into an experiment that could be observed, studied, and used to show the differences of how capitalism and socialism affect a country. This is a matter of fact. Fred Thompson was incredible last PM. I suppose I'll have to dig that one out for those who think the news is on the drive-by channels like these.
That's certainly not to diminish Joe Lieberman's speech. Even when he was running for VP, the GOP wouldn't go "after him," only challenge the issues. He's a perfect example of a liberal who puts country before party. Frankly, it's impossible to dislike the man, regardless of what side he's on.

I've been following the candidates throughout this whole process. O is not going to cure our ills. He will just put us more into debt. I would have loved to hear the crap spewed by BOTH but let's face it. If the O wins and any of his dem affiliates and everything is democratic, there goes the checks and balances; i.e., they can put through any law with smooth sailing and nary a person can undermine it.
Do you understand and see what I'm saying???? Probably not. Let me put it in English....if the O wants to ban guns, it will be done. If the O wants to tax people that earn $1,000 a year (just a supposition), it will be done. If the O wants to tax us to death on health care, it will be done. For one thing, that you're not informed
of the truth (which I posted below) and are spreading the "mandatory" myth, which inflames and upsets people.
Obama's programs are inclusive and designed for those who choose to participate for the good of the country, to bring us closer together. If you want no part of that, then, that's your choice, and though I personally think it's sad, it's probably for the best. Either way, it's your CHOICE and is NOT MANDATORY.
More pregnant women should be informed of this.
When I had my son, we donated his cord blood and it was all done for free. When I had my daughter four years later (and at a different hospital), we were told that we could store the cord blood, but not donate, and of course, storing means paying (way too much), so we didn't do it then. I probably should have done more checking around to see where we could have donated.
That one, I'm all for - if they could use that to find a cure for or treat cancer, MD, or anything else, imagine how fabulous that would be!!!

Nobody told Army Mom not to speak or even that she wasn't entitled to her opinion. But she DID seem to feel she was speaking for all soldiers and seemed to be totally unaware that most soldiers hold a different view of the war than she does. That unawareness can't go unchallenged. Read any military message board and you'll see for yourself that it's an ostrich-head-in-the-sand kind of thing. Soldiers aren't stupid. Many of them know the deal. Many pretend they don't. Some just like it and don't care why they're there. There are all kinds of opinions on the message boards, not just one view. But most want to get the heck out and come home because they know they've been used and set up and put in harm's way for no good reason. Anyone who's been paying attention knows it too.
