that most criminals don't have a registered handgun. Tighter gun control laws, even aimed at protecting our politicians in DC and children in inner city schools, would not keep criminals and thugs from having guns. In fact, once tighter gun control laws are passed, it would not take too much of a turn of the screw to morph them into laws taking away the guns of home owners who want to protect themselves/families/homes and hunter-dads (and moms) who just want to put some meat on the table for their family, and believe me, folks, when I say the time is soon coming when we all may have to take to the woods in search of food for our families.
Gun control that takes away our basic 2nd amendment rights will quickly disarm Americans and create an easy avenue for dictatorship and a police state.
