You know, I welcome this....

whatever the truth is, let's get it out there be done with it.  That being said....once the scab is peeled off this, the whole Plame debacle will be open to the world as well.  Perhaps we will then find out, since we already know Richard Armitage did the actual outing of Plame, who pushed HIS buttons.  I don't think he just woke up one day and said "I'm gonna out Valerie Plame."  (and how, pray tell, does one "out" a CIA agent in a "casual" conversation??  lol).  There is way more to this than meets the eye.  Richard Armitage is certainly no friend of the Bush administration.  I doubt he would have conspired with Cheney to out Plame.  Armitage worked at cross purposes with the Admin the whole time he was there.  The stories that man could tell.

And there HAS to be a reason Pelosi and the higher-ups are so opposed to it.  And I am thinking that reason is Richard Armitage the damage he could do if he folds....and I am thinking that is exactly what he will do.  There is also a reason Patrick Fitzgerald never indicted him when he confessed HE was the one who did the "crime" and asked him not to talk about it until they convicted Libby.  Why on earth, if you really cared about justice, would you not indict the man who confessed to the actual crime, and go only after the one who supposedly lied about it?  PLEASE.  There is much more afoot here than any of us know.

Yep, I for one wish they WOULD go forward with this.

Also...ever wonder why Scott McClellan picked NOW to come out with what he said (other than he is writing a book of course)?  I think the timing is...well....

Yep, bring it on judiciary committee.  Let's see how serious you really are.  Let's see if you ask to talk to Richard Armitage.  Let's see how much you really want to know the "truth."  Shake up that henhouse.  Thing is...you might not like where they come home to roost.

As to Pelosi not wanting to be vice president....LOL.  That would have her salivating.  I think she just knows things she doesn't want the voting public to know so close to an election.  Why risk it when Bush and Cheney are on their way out?  She is noting if not a smart politician.

There is really no telling what will happen if they open this Pandora's box.  So open it already, and let the games begin.  :)
