Wow, that question authority has been my motto for years. To my thinking it doesn't mean to necessarily be hostile or aggressive to authority but to always question, is this the best choice? and not to blindly follow whoever is in charge. Governmentally people often tend to be lemmings because it's easier that way, I think. Look how long civil rights issues went unchanged simply because it had always been easier to allow the status quo to continue, even if it involved murder and inhumane treatment. It seems if atrocities go on long enough they can become the accepted norm in a society, hopefully in rare instances.
