What gets me is that no one bothered to say that they felt badly for your circumstance. I am sorry to hear of it and hope that you are able to find employment and that your husband will be okay. And decent people should all be willing to help someone such as yourself who, through no fault of their own, has found themself in this unfortunate situation. There but for the grace of God goes each and everyone of us. I don't believe I know a single person who would not want to help you and your husband get back on your feet, and I am sure no one would begrudge you any help you did receive. People such as you are the ones who deserve our help.
