coping with disappointment early in life, not slammed with it in their 30's for the first time. Some lady interviewed earlier actually thought if she voted for obama, he would see to it she need not pay off her mortage or her car. Some of these things trickle down, but I actually don't think people realize how fickle this can be. We found out after hurricane Ike, not everybody got help, either with money, food, shelter or anything else. One lady has been living in a tent outside her trailer because FEMA told her there was insufficient damage to warrant helping her. You should see the trailer. One family in Galveston has only a slab left and the FEMA guy accidentally marked it as livable and they have to reapply with a protest on the findings. Unreal.
