if it is the same that we use, i don't think that anybody has a specific card that they use. When I go in to vote, the first person asks me my name. The second person has me sign a page that has my signature on it from the last time i voted. Then I skip a few people.
And then down at the end, the last person has about five credit cards on the table in front of her. She hands me one. I put it in the machine, vote, and give it back to her.
From the way we do it, there is no way that that card could know who really has it.
Maybe the little old lady just wanted to know which one it is because it was broken and didn't want someone else to use it.
