mention what city or state I live in but the kids in our public schools DO say the Pledge of Allegiance. There is also a group of Christian women who meet weekly to tell groups of kids about Christ in the elementary schools during regular school hours. The schools DO send home a form for parents to fill out, letting them know whether or not they want their children participating in these classes. I know the youth pastor from our church visits my children's school once a week at lunchtime to hang with them and other kids and see how things are going with them. :)
