I know you said you cannot link to the proceeding sentence, but could you use . . .
prior sentence; 9-1-1 was called. I sometimes do that when my doctors end one sentence with a dictated period, but start the next with a number, such as degrees in testing ect. I never had them complain . . .knock on wood.
