I would say urogenic, unless the patient has other neurological/nerve associated diagnosis i.e. neur

The OP had used Google and found instances of both words being used. Sounds more like the OP was looking for some help with the proper usage of the word in the context of a report. I don't see why she (or he) caught any grief for asking for opinions on the proper term to use.

    when doing the Google wildcard search you can use the MINUS(-) exception to narrow the search matches; you can also enter multiple asterisks within the quotes, e.g. "medial * * skin lesion" -biopsy will return all possible matches EXCEPT biopsy; hope that's not confusing...and hope it helps.

    EMG/NCV dictation

    I am transcribing an EMG report right now, and the MD is foreign, so I am having difficulty hearing some of her words.


    Dictated:  Ulnar "inching" (?) studies across the elbows .....


    Is "inching" the correct word?  I can't find it in my ref books.
